My take on an unreleased song by Noah Rinker. I changed the lyrics to be for the Lord but the melody and chords are basically the same.

To talk about the lyrics line by line:
Jesus took the weight of the whole world’s sin on Himself and died on the cross for us. We’ve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. His blood covers all of our sins if we repent and believe in Him. When God sees us He sees His Son. Therefore, He loves and forgives us the same no matter what. When we were dead in our sin, we didn’t know what it was like to truly be alive in Christ. When we see what He did for us on the cross and believe in Him it radically changes our lives! And true love is the sacrifice Jesus made for us on that cross!

It’s incredible how God has gifted us with music and how it draws us towards Himself. Even how a secular song can be changed to honor God. Creation sings His praises!! We were made to worship God!!

@studentlifecamp at Chowan University!

Man, God MOVED🙌 Not only in the lives of these students but also in our lives as well. The Lord reminded me of the importance of just being surrender to Him. Cultivating a relationship with Him isn’t easy because of our sinful nature but man it is so worth it . There is no greater joy than living a life worthy of the calling the Lord has placed on our lives, and that calling is to worship HIM🙏

To the SLC staff, you became family this week to our entire band. We love you guys! Keep living for Jesus and making His name known.

Last stop of the summer is Florida and we leave tommorow let’s gooo! 🌴 #studentlife #camp #worship #gospel #jesus taken in Chowan University by @connor_fancher

Heretic - @gablepriceandfriends EG cover

This is an awesome song about asking the Lord to mold our hearts and minds more into the image of Christ. It challenges our theology and motives and asks that our heart would be broken so that it would look more like His! Surrender your mind and heart to the Lord and allow Him to change your desires and thoughts. Don’t try to fit God into the box you want Him to fit in.

Huge thanks to @cameron_lason and @alex__pelchat for mixing this and helping with ideas and just being the 🐐’s

YouthQuest 24-26

This ministry has been one of the most important parts of my life for the last 2 and a half years. I genuinely can’t imagine what Liberty would’ve been like if I wasn’t on this team. I saw God move so much!! We’ve seen so many kids give their lives to Jesus, be called to ministry, repent of their sin, and be equipped to share the Gospel. I’ve grown immensely because of being on this team and I’ve gained a VERY large family because of this ministry!

I started out as the sound guy 1st semester then I did 2 years as the electric guitarist. I grew musically, spiritually, in faith, in boldness, and in love for other people. On YouthQuest I experienced real Godly community with many people who deeply love Jesus and seek to honor Jesus in everything they do. I made so many life long friends on this team. But they aren’t just my friends, they are my family! I was on the team with 30-40 different people throughout my time on my team and I love a cherish my friendships with all of them.

This ministry is one of the most genuine and raw ministries I’ve ever been apart of. We spent so much time in prayer and worship over these students and we poured hundreds of hours a semester into sharing the Gospel and reaching so many students! It was a major commitment and took a lot of sacrifice but it was so worth every second!

To every person I’ve served on YouthQuest with. I love you so much. You guys are all examples of Christlike love and yall are going to do HUGE things for the kingdom of God. You guys love people so well and serve Jesus so humbly. All of you are so talented at what you do but more importantly you do it for the glory of God!! I don’t think you guys know how much of an impact you had on my life and how much I care about and love yall! I am going to miss you guys like CRAZYYYY! PLEASE invite on weekends the next two years😂
If I didn’t tag you in the post, I’m so sorry! I could only tag 20 people. I’ll tag you here.

Graduated from my undergrad at Liberty yesterday!! I’m honored and excited to say that I’ll be continuing at Liberty getting my masters and will be joining the @libertyworshipcollective in the fall!!
Incredibly thankful for the last 3 years. God’s hand is all over this place!! I genuinely couldn’t even fathom going to another college. Liberty was by far the best couple years of my life and it is the greatest university on the planet. I’ve made so many life long friends who deeply love Jesus and have been a reflection of Christ’s character in everything they do! My professors deeply cared about me not just on an academic level but on a personal and spiritual level as well. My RAs, RSs, and CGLs poured into me and cared deeply.
The amount of random worship nights and deep conversations about the Lord was absolutely incredible and it was amazing to see so much growth in every person around me. I truly think that every person that goes here leaves changed in one way or another.
If you’re debating about whether or not you should go to Liberty or maybe you’re not even considering Liberty, YOU SHOULD GO TO LIBERTY!!!😂
