Congratulations to @connor_lunn on signing with @raysbaseball

Happy to say we had absolutely nothing to do with this one as his just recently started working with us.

We are just happy he’s got a second life and a new opportunity with Tampa!

The work he’s done with @sd_pitchingcoach continues to pay off!
As well as all of the work he put in with my old friend/teammate @koreperformance_ !

Connor was previously a top prospect in the Cardinals organization. He’s been an absolute horse and demolisher of innings.

Connor reached out after being released this ST to work on cleaning up the shape of his 4S and try to rebrand his arsenal as well as add back some lost velocity.

Over the past few weeks he has worked on being able to square up the ball and produce his old elite 4S quality that was consistently +20.

We have recently achieved that through cleaning up some issues with his unwind/plane. (Last bullpen was up to 20in’ IVb from last year avg >14 w/ inadvertent cut). Part of this will continue to be achieved through cleaning up some spinal compression and bettering his ability to segment, as well as improve his ability to side bend again.

Connor has also been working on a slightly more efficient and well timed transfer of his COM. Timing up FFS, and allowing the back hip to dictate forward move not a push. We were able to go back to the drawing board on some things after reviewing some of his hardest throws back from his @sctrojans_baseball days.

Excited for Connor to get to work here! Let’s go @raysbaseball! by @connor_lunn
