Back Like I Never Left.. 📸👀 Shot by Jake Birch - the gentleman that scouted me all those years ago when I was an apprentice hairdresser sat on The Old Market Square in Nottingham with a young lady I barely knew that was mad at me for showing up late.. she soon stopped being mad when Jake came over telling me he was a scout for a London agency and told me I had a great jawline. Safe to say there wasn’t too much looking back after that. Before I knew it was flying around Europe booking campaigns and showing up on shop windows all over the place. This is my first post in a LONG time.. After some struggles with my mental health and time off - I’ve stopped hiding and getting in my own way. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting and I almost forgot how proud I am of the distance I’ve come. It’s easy to focus on some hurdles that didn’t go right.. but what about every other obstacle that you smashed and over came? Never forget the wins. A few losses don’t make you a loser. It just adds to a bigger triumph when you rise above it all.. I’m back again with some absolute corkers by Jake to share with you. Thanks for your support and love over the years, that’s simply to the people showing love to the work we create but of course to the friends and family that have been helping hold my big old head up for me. The Connor Calder Show is far from over.. til the lights blow out and the wheels fall off..
