German based romance writer embracing books from source to page 🌳 there's absolutely no AI in my works

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I so distinctively remember opening a new document and starting to write. The first story I ever started as a book, and here I hold it in my hands now 🥹 completely surreal would be understating it.

It's been one hell of a ride, but my debut novel All About Fate is out now 😱🤩

You already got to meet the characters and now it's time you dive into their world. Let me know what you think 🫶

To everyone who was, and still is, along for the journey: thank you. Thank you @novum_verlag for taking me on. This is insane 📚

It's a simple line and yet I love it.

I love the character who says it.

I love that the man who inspired this character was more than happy to write the words down for me. Even more so when he said "I swear I've said this in my life, a few times."

I love that it will now constantly remind me that things you barely dare to dream of can actually happen.
At times you can make it happen by putting in the work, other times you need some luck on your side.
Being able to get the words written was luck, but writing them myself as part of my first novel sure wasn't.

SNEAK PEEK!
🌠
It's been way too quiet around here, and while there's still a little waiting to do, I thought I'd at least share this with you in the meantime.

2025 has been a wild years, writing-wise and else, and while I hoped to publish the book before the year ends, sometimes things don't go according to plans and wishes.

So anyway, enjoy this little peek into the world of my dear Dania, and stay tuned for more!

Those friends you can share anything with, no matter how big or small. Those friends that support you no matter what, that read your work and are so honest in their feedback. Those friends that help you with whatever you need. Those friends that have your back. -- Keep them close, don't let them go, and tell them that you love them.

And don't let go of any sort of connection to whatever it might be. Remember your own importance.

I already touched on that topic in my Writing ABC, but music is so important to me, it deserves its own post.

With every new project, my writing playlist grows, sometimes before I have even figured out the actual plot.
But sometimes you hear a song that moves you so much it can't not inspire you. Sometimes you find songs that sound like they were written for your characters spefically.

Listening to this playlist on shuffle is so fun because it instantly makes my brain switch between all those stories, all those characters. It forever reminds me of what I created, of what I'm still creating. It reminds me that there's for sure so much more to come - maybe finding a new song will inspire a whole new idea, who knows?

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

🎤🎼

32-year old Alex is living his dream. From YouTube to growing international fame, his music career is developing in a way lots of people yearn for but never achieve. It doesn’t matter how big the locations he plays are, what matters is that he gets to play them on the other side of the world.

As someone who's not really into change, and who can sometimes be a bit of a scaredy cat, these are daily reminders to myself. And getting a book deal proved that I am capable and going for it can really work out for the best.

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION

🎥🎬

35-year old Tony has what Dania so desperately wants: a booming acting career. His face seems to be everywhere at the moment, the internet loves his suave but fun interviews and his follower numbers keep climbing. So of course he’s playing the male lead in a movie whereas Dania has only gotten yet another job as an extra.

As much as I like to just curl up in my living room, taking a walk in the sun makes everything a little better. Preferably with music or an audio book in my ears to give my noisy brain a break.

I remember this particular day in April 2023, remember where I went and the song that was blasting when I took the photo. It sure was a good day 💚

CHARACTER INTRODUCTION
💫

27-year old Dania has a dream. But so far that dream stubbornly refuses to become reality.

Like so many other actors in Hollywood she just can't seem to get that one perfect role - the one that elevates her name from being credited among a flood of extras to the top.

It doesn’t even have to be the very top, but playing a character with an actual name for once would be nice.
