Nico Lahs and I met at ADE in Amsterdam 2 years ago, and made a great connection that was the start of what is already becoming a deep friendship.

His work on the remix of Cruisin' Summer Heat is inspiring, and working with him this week in the studio where it was created has been something special.

Keep your eyes and ears open for more music from us - we've had some very productive sessions in the last few days.

I’m thrilled to announce the release of the second Continental Drift Records EP of 2026.

Cruisin’ Summer Heat is out now, featuring a remix by Italian maestro and dear friend Nico Lahs. It’s available at record shops here and there worldwide, and on Bandcamp.

This EP is all about late summer, and Nico Lahs’ Mediterranean Mix of the title track takes us to the water’s edge of his hometown Bari, on the beautiful Puglian coast of south Italy.

Nico and I met at in Amsterdam at ADE in 2024, introduced by mutual friend Move D. We have maintained the connection, and now we have this sweet EP that proves the power of musical connection and friendship.

I’m in Italy now as a matter of fact, celebrating the release of Cruisin’ Summer Heat with Nico Lahs, and working on new music together.

Hazy chords linger over Conoley’s signature bounce, characterizing this whole record of humid grooves. Cruisin‘ Summer Heat sounds more like sunset, while Sound Drips takes us to somewhat darker terrain. The talking percussion on the latter reveals its own compelling atmosphere even before a scant melody sneaks in at the seams. Underappreciated deep house stalwart Nico Lahs makes a welcome appearance with an unsurprisingly compelling rework on the B side. His remix warms us back up again with a beachside bonfire toasty bassline & shimmying backbeat.
