👋 Time for a REINTRODUCTION I think! Hello everyone! I am Cliff and I am the founder and social media marketer behind CONQUER. SOCIALS 😁 This is an insight into who I am and what inspired me to start CONQUER. and help other businesses succeed on social media and grow their business in modern times ☺️ 👨🏻‍💻 I’ve had an interest in marketing since school, so much so, I then went on to study it at the Strathclyde Business School and attain a degree with honours. 👨🏻‍💻 After graduating in the midst of the COVID pandemic, I eventually found work with a tennis coaching business to manage and promote them on social media. 👨🏻‍💻 After enjoying working with social media and creating content, I then decided to start my own business, which has always been an ambition of mine! CONQUER. was then born! 👨🏻‍💻 Despite how challenging it has and can be to run a business, I have developed even more of a passion for social media marketing and a newer passion for photography and videography when striving to create content! 👨🏻‍💻 Being able to help local business grow and thrive is probably the most fulfilling thing I have been able to do in my professional career! I have helped clients reach hundreds of thousands of target customers and increase their sales significantly! Even going viral a couple of times 😂 👨🏻‍💻 Other than social media, I have a few other interests like football, golf, gaming and going to the gym. All of these help me to switch off! Do say hello in the comments, I would love to connect with more of you here on Instagram! Also, let me know what you like to do in your spare time when you aren’t focusing on your business! - #glasgowmarketing #glasgowsocialmediamarketing #glasgowsmallbusiness #glasgowbusinessowners #socialmediamarketers by @conquer.socials

Making content to promote your business can seem daunting. 🫠 But it really doesn’t have to be! So here are content creation platforms that really helped me when I started out. 📽️ CAPCUT - This is THE BEST video editor out there if you don’t have much or any experience with video editing! Additionally, CapCut was literally built for short-form videos that you see on Instagram and TikTok! Despite there being PRO features that are behind a paywall, CapCut has many cool and creative features that are available for FREE! 📷 CANVA - You may have heard about Canva before, and for good reason! It is such an easy and beginner-friendly tool to use for creating graphics and editing photos that you can use to post on Instagram. Canva has many amazing features available to use and give your graphics a sleek and creative look! You definitely can get away with the FREE version but Canva Pro gives you a lot of impressive tools that can make your posts really stand out and be consistent with your brand! I couldn’t recommend CapCut and Canva enough if you’re just starting out! Of course, if you don’t have the time to faff around with Canva and CapCut - my services are always here to help you! 😁 FOLLOW FOR MORE SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING TIPS! - #contentcreationtools #contentcreationforbusiness #videoeditingforbeginners #contentcreationessentials #socialmediaforbusiness by @conquer.socials

Let’s talk about Instagram Edits… Instagram have recently released their new video editing alternative and competitor to the likes of CapCut. There has been a lot of talk about Edits from Instagram, but is it any good? Let’s see! I have to say, there are a lot of great features on ‘Edits’ that are worth checking it out for… 👉 The Inspiration tab allows you to scroll and find more ideas that you can use for your own Reels A very easy way to find Reels that are doing well and use trending audio, which you can use for inspiration! 👉 The Insights tab lets you get a more in depth look at how your Reels have been performing. All of the important statistics such as average watch time, like rate and share rate are all there for you to analyse and refer to for next steps! 👉 The Ideas tab is a nice wee section to keep all of your ideas and suggestions for future Reel content. You can note down ideas on virtual sticky notes and refer back to saved videos you can use for inspiration! 👉 ‘Edits’ also has its own native camera which comes with its own options. If you want to set a timer, touch up your video with a soft skin effect, use audio from Instagram’s audio library or have a green screen background on your video - you can easily do this! 👉 Of course, ‘Edits’ has its own timeline for you to provide you with a more precise video editing experience. The ‘Edits’ timeline has additional features that aren’t available on the Instagram app whilst editing such as transitions and effects, automatic captioning, animated fonts and AI animation! All in all, I think it’s a nice alternative to have and it does a good job with streamlining the process of uploading Reels to Instagram. However, I did come across some bugs and issues whilst using the app. But… it is still early days for ‘Edits’ and I’m sure it will improve! For now, I’d recommend sticking to CapCut for longer Reels (or get in touch with me to handle your content creation 👀 link is in my bio!) Have you tried using Edits yet? Let’s all network together shall we! 😁 So I pose this fun wee question to you… What are 3 emojis that you would use to describe your business? I’ll go first… 📸📲 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 I choose these three because: 👉 I’m always taking photographs and videos for content! 👉 I’m glued to my phone because I work with social media! 👉 …and I love helping local Scottish businesses thrive on Instagram and TikTok! I look forward to seeing everyone’s emojis 😂 - #glasgowbusiness #glasgownetworking #businessnetworking #socialmediamarketingforbusiness #glasgowsmallbusiness by @conquer.socials
