September 8, 2026: aaaaagggghhhh! Hoping for just a one-day stay as we wait to get a CT scan. Possibly pancreatitis - need to see how bad and whether or not there are any complications. Why not add some blood and platelets into the mix too. by @conquer.teamjaxson

Pediatric oncology families are coming together for the annual group blood drive on September 23, 2026 (which just happens to be Sloane’s birthday BTW), starting at 10am with Canadian Blood Services, and we need YOU to join Team Childhood Cancer Awareness!

We have 35 spots to fill so spread the word and bring a friend.

Your donation can be a lifeline for these brave kids. Giving blood is one of the easiest ways to give back.

📍 Location: Canadian Blood Services Main Clinic

1. Log into or create your blood.ca account by going to: https://myaccount.blood.ca/en/user

June 16, 2026: one year and three days since diagnosis; since starting this life altering treatment - both good and bad. Treatment has made it so there continues to be no evidence of residual cancer; and for that we are incredibly grateful. Treatment has also created some side effects that we’re hoping will resolve over time.

Up next is the Maintenance Phase. Less in-hospital treatment, and hopefully more normal day to day activities. This is the longest part of treatment, up to January 2029. Yup. Up into my very early twenties! And this is not up for discussion or negotiation.

The full maintenance regime must be completed for best chance of longterm cancer-free survival.

May 28, 2026: still waiting for my neutrophils to recover (platelets and hemoglobin are doing surprisingly well at the moment), but was in a position that my oncology team were behind me 💯 on attending the BHS Class of 2026 graduation ceremony. Conquering T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia for 51-weeks today.

May 11, 2026: Treatment for cancer can have extreme consequences on a person’s bone marrow, which is responsible for blood cell production. I am in current need of almost daily platelet transfusions, and thankfully less frequent blood transfusions. These transfusions can come with their own risks and side effects too, but without the transfusions, death becomes the bigger risk. Now, imagine that tradeoff for the 10,000 children currently living with or in treatment for cancer. Please donate and help replenish Canada’s lifeline. by @conquer.teamjaxson

May 4, 2025: more platelets today plus a bag o’blood. I felt great - not symptomatic at all. Last time I had similar levels was around the same point this treatment cycle back in early August, but I was nauseated and passing out.

National levels of blood supply are low - for my specific blood type - and a couple others too. With summer coming, donations historically drop-off, so if you can, give blood this week, so you can give again in early august as an 18th Birthday gift to me.

April 15, 2025: After an extra two-weeks off, the ANC was finally up and over the minimum requirement for the first half of delayed intensification to start. Good news that followed one of the biggest high points of this year so far IYKYK.
