Before we flew out of Vegas, we visited Seven Magic Mountains! Created by Swiss artist, Ugo Rondinone, this large scale art installation has seven towers of colorful stacked boulders over 30 feet high!! From seeing the mystical Lake Manly at Badwater Basin to the super bloom of flowers, Death Valley was unlike anything we had ever seen before! From the arch, to dry waterfall carved rocks, sand dunes and endless amounts of salt. This place is other worldly! 🤯 taken in Death Valley National Park by @consciouslycalla

Next Stop: Death Valley National Park! Sunrise at Zabriske Point was so beautiful. One of our favorite + most memorable hikes on the whole trip was on we hadn’t planned for. We stopped at the Hole in the Wall Mojave Desert visitors center because Kelso Depot is under renovation. We got our junior ranger booklets + were told that the Rings Loop Trail was worth it. 💯 10/10 Recommend. taken in Mojave National Preserve by @consciouslycalla

When does a volcano become a crater? 10,000 years after its last eruption 🤯

Amboy Crater is a 250-foot-high, 79,000-year-old dormant cinder cone volcano in the Mojave desert! We not only hiked to it, but also inside of it! Wow! We hiked into a volcano!!! taken in Amboy Crater by @consciouslycalla

The second part of our day in @joshuatreenps we hiked the Hidden Valley trail, became junior rangers, got coffee + matcha at @masomenosbar, got dinner for later at @dezfinefood and at lunch at @the.tiny.pony before heading back to the park to witness golden hour and sunset! 🌅 A full + amazing day! taken in Joshua Tree National Park by @consciouslycalla

We spent a slow desert afternoon in Pioneertown and honestly it surprised us in the best way.

An old western movie set that still feels lived in, genuinely sweet local shops, baby animals just casually hanging out, including a one month old baby bull that absolutely stole the show.

And yes, we met @hairytcactus + he deserves his own fan club 🌵

Simple, charming + exactly what we didn’t know we needed.

i know love is real because i exist and i’m full of it! ✨

2025 brought a lot of bad, but more importantly brought so much joy and love. We bought a house, saw six friends get married, spent quality time with family, both found and of origin, read so many good books books, saw incredible concerts, visited new places, and turned 30!
