✅ GenAction Roadmap: We co-created our commitments + priority actions to protect aquatic ecosystems and drive a sustainable blue economy in our countries.

3 of our members at Project Conserve River proudly represented us for a 3-days program as we joined over 100 young leaders from 14 countries for the Regional Youth Climate Forum in Côte d’Ivoire themed GENACTION, FOR A SUSTAINABLE, INCLUSIVE, AND
EQUITABLE BLUE ECONOMY IN WEST AFRICA.

Day 1 highlights:
✅ Welcome & networking with youth across Africa + beyond
✅ Visit to SODEXAM - they learned how weather and climate data is collected
✅ Presentation on the Meteorology Center & understanding climate
✅ Climate Fresk workshop - breaking down climate change in a fun, interactive way
✅ Forum briefing & internal rules
