You will not believe what happened on Nov 22!

I attended a conference that day, just to learn, network a little, and quietly mind my business.
But as I listened to the keynote speaker, something STRUCK me… something that made the entire hall pause.

My ears stood up.
My heart did gbim.
I felt like they had just announced I’d won a private jet!

Guess what caused all that excitement?
It wasn’t the décor.
It wasn’t the slides.
It wasn’t even the speaker’s outfit.

It was HOW PERFECTLY she pronounced “December.”
Clarity. Confidence. Correctness. 😍

I thought: “THIS is how every Nigerian should say December!”
Not Dezember, not Dezemba, and definitely NOT Deh-ZEM-bah! ❌😂

Many people make this mistake when addressing others: using a title with only the first name (Mr. John, Mrs. Christy). ✅ Correct forms:
Mr. Okafor
Mrs. Okafor Or with the full name: Mr. John Okafor / Mrs. Christy Okafor
If you want to use only the first name, drop the title completely.
