Why would a soul need protection?

Because we have free will, and other people have free will too. Not everyone has your best intentions at heart.

When I'm heading into a tricky situation, or someone's words say one thing and the vibe says another, I ask my angels to cast a light of protection around me.

And when someone just won't get out of your space? Call on St. Michael and his cobalt blue sword to cut the cord. I share more in my new episode.

Have a headache? You take an aspirin. Something physical for a physical ailment.

When there's an energetic ailment, take something energetic. A vision. Use your imagination to rectify and remedy the upset.

Are you giving away your power?

Taking other people's advice over your own inner wisdom. That's the biggest one.

I have a pretty thriving business, and a lot on my to-do list from the heavens and from my own desires. And so many people weigh in on what they think I should be doing. Can you just ask me first? Can you ask me how I'm doing?

Claim your power. Notice when you're inadvertently giving it away, course correct, and follow your own inner guidance. Your needs, your desires, your blueprint from the heavens.

This is your life. Don't let anyone else try to live it for you.

Today, October 2nd, is the Feast of the Guardian Angels in the Catholic faith, and it's one of my favorite days of the year.

I grew up saying this prayer, and I still love it:
"Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side, to light and guard, to rule and guide."

Try it today, and take a moment to thank your guardian angel.

Are you so energetically sensitive that you feel seclusion might be your best strategy?

This week, I talked about space invaders - the people and places that affect your energy field - and how to treat your energy field like the force it's meant to be.

When I'm caught off guard, I always come back to Awareness, Breath, Care. And before I enter a crowd or a big meeting, I shrink in my Auric field with intention and imagine it like a wetsuit. Whatever would otherwise be invasive slides right off. It doesn't stick.

This week, take the time to really source the information in your soul. What's troubling you? Where are your sticky places? What can you do to protect your energy field, so you can do some of the things you enjoy?

One of the ways I maintain my sacred boundaries: instead of calling someone, I check in with a text.

You know the ones. The calls that could go on and on and on. I'm working 60 hours a week, so either I set aside a swath of time, or I hold my sacred boundaries, even in conversation.

It's the start of a new school year, and I want to remind you - parents of really empathic kids, and teachers who know you have some energetically astute kids in your classroom.

The best advice I could give you? Have them choose the right seat for them.

Super empathic kids are picking up all the energy around them. They aren't just working to focus on the lesson at hand. They're dealing with static interference from everyone around them.

So maybe it's not about better study habits. Maybe it's about spatial relations and placement in the classroom.

Just think about that.

Your curiosity can override your empathic commitment to yourself.

You should re-listen to that.

When you're curious about someone else, you are already plugged in. You can cleanse, clear, and hold your energetic agency, but the moment you try to tune into someone else, your empathic abilities override all of your care mechanisms.

So tune in consciously. Off and on, off and on. Recognize that your curiosity is your inroad to how they're doing, what they're thinking, how they're feeling.

Empower yourself completely. Truly.
