I’m retiring labels like “small,” “medium,” and “large” when describing braid sizes because those terms can mean something different to everyone.

Instead, braid sizes will be identified by the number of rows from ear to ear. Clients can choose from 6–14 rows and customize their service by selecting a length ranging from 12”–28”.

This system is clear, consistent, and removes the guesswork when booking—so you’ll know exactly what to expect every time.

Shampoo weekend is your reminder that braids still need a clean scalp. 🫧✨

A few tips when washing your braids:

• Focus your shampoo mainly on your scalp and roots, where sweat, oils, and product buildup collect.
• Massage gently with your fingertips—avoid aggressively rubbing or bunching your braids together.
• Let the shampoo and water run down the length of your braids as you rinse.
• Rinse thoroughly. Leftover shampoo can cause itching and buildup.
• After washing, gently squeeze out excess water and make sure your braids dry completely, especially near the roots.
• Once dry, follow up with a lightweight hydrating mist and scalp oil to bring moisture back to your hair and scalp.
