After years of planning and hard work, happy to present my clients opened a new Airbnb a few months ago. ✈️

⛰️The unique and modern tree house is in the lovely mountain town of Saluda, NC.

🌳Nestled on 40 acres with an incredible 70’ hanging bridge entry.

🏡There is a full indoor bathroom, kitchenette, large back deck and loft space with bay window to enjoy the serene forest landscape. 🍃

🛀There is a relaxing outdoor deck hot tub and fire pit. 🪵

#saluda is just 25 mi to #asheville , 30mi to #biltmoreestate , 20 mi to #dupontstateforest and 20 mi to #sierranevadabrewing

Wonderful to see a dream come to life for this couple. More photos, video and information coming soon. Link to Airbnb in bio. 🔝 taken in North Carolina by @consulthola

🌱There is a new bar in town, @kukololabar & its low key yet hyped vibe is sure to make a splash in Cartagena’s vibrant #cocktail scene. 🍃

🪴Its slogan means from the root which shows in its unique ingredients showcased in the bar’s yummy cocktails 🍸🍹.

🌿Kukolola’s creative genius is @andreyjaramillo whose skilled bartender hands, vast industry knowledge & kindness make this little bar special and definitely worth a stop on your next visit to #getsemani or to #cartagena 🇨🇴

📸Note: We drank the cocktails too fast & need to go back for photos 💃🏻 by @consulthola

! Happy #nationalrumday 🔥!
Rum is my liquor of choice - its my #carribean blood 🇵🇷

🌸 In #cartagena I did a #rumtasting at @elarsenalctg 🇨🇴

We like this spot because of the laidback welcoming vibe , chill live music and the owner, Abe. For the cool and very informative rum tasting we were served by our favorite waitress, Grace⭐️.

The owner also makes yummy chocolates that are sold at the restaurant but will have to feature in another post because there are so many options! 🍫

Photos 📸:
➡️ #rums @the_dictador Seductivo , Parce Rum @parcerum and Maestro Botero rum (A limited supply was made 8+ years ago by Fabrica de Licores de Atioquia featuring a famous #botero painting) 🥃

➡️ #food - plantain baskets (26k) & seared tuna steak (35k) 🐟🥗

(Some items on the menu have a portion of cost go to benefit children’s program .) 🙏

Another successful find in #cartagena of #yummy goodies from some of my favorite places 🔥

Photos in order:

🥐 @kutupanaderia yummy pastries of all varieties- my favorite was the canela roll like cinnamon roll made out of croissant bread and at 8K pesos a piece definitely worth buying a few!

@chechicocina hummus by @aja_chechi which is best Ive had in Cartagena after looking various places - so good this time I got 2 to not run out too soon! 😋

@jam_bolleria has super tasty sweets for someone who isn’t even big on sweets! Their brownie sin harina (without flour) has pecans & blueberries 🫐. Soft, sweet and for me eaten in bites last me a week or so but it melts fast so if you get it - should refrigerate it to keep shape and consistency. 🍫

@kinikiamazonica first time hearing about this wonderful project to help women in amazon of Colombia and loved their fresh smoked aji (picante) ground seasoning. Definitely a wonderful addition sprinkled on top of any dish if you like spicy (like a lil stronger touch then black and red pepper). 🌶

@celele_restaurante named one of @theworlds50best restaurants and known for their #sustainability approach - they always bring so many good things to the fair but our favorite by far is this #localcheese from #mompox. Often eaten with guava pastry from kutu 🧀. Love that has the person who did it on the package- how cool is that?

The first one I went was May 29 and this one past Saturday, July 17 - both times @caffelunatico. Stay tuned for next fair! 🎉 and if their isnt a fair you can still order with delivery (domicillo) from any of these #smallbusinesses 🚕.

#sundayfunday reliving #memories of almost a year ago of attending @mompoxjazzfestival (put on by @gobbolivar)to see one of my favs perform 🎉

🚌 That trip tested me and my #strength in many ways but Im so glad I saw @fonsecamusic perform.🙏 It had been on my “ dream/wish” list and everything I went through alone to see #fonseca was worth it🎶

who could have predicted how an #event #musicfestival or #concert would be now with covid_19 #pandemic 😷

❤️Thinking of that night brought me such happiness today. What concert brings back happy memories for you? 📷

#latergram few weeks ago watching this #jazz #bassplayer do his thing on #uprightbass.

#Music is such an integral part of life. Happy jazz became more of my life over last few years.

For anyone who still thinks jazz is just background music stop by @zincbar or any other #nyc jazz spot on any given night to hear very #talentedmusicians , like @claffybass , just being their own #entrepreneurs trying to make living by sharing music they love ❤️

I had immense joy to see @common on a cold #nyc day a week or so ago talk about his new book 📚 #letlovehavethelastword & perform at end in the always breathtaking & uplifting @riversidenyc . Professionally posting as he is a musician, author, entrepreneur but on personal side it was #exactlywhatineeded to #keeponkeepinon. ❤️
