We're back with another group of outstanding artists featured in our 10th Biennial FOOTPRINT International Exhibition!

As we continue exploring this year's exhibition, we're highlighting more of the talented printmakers whose work was selected from an international pool of submissions. Each piece offers a unique perspective and showcases the incredible breadth of contemporary printmaking.

Looking for a fun (and free!) way to spend this Saturday? ☀️

Stop by the Center for Contemporary Printmaking anytime between 1–3 PM for our Free Cyanotype Summer Sampler! Create beautiful blue sun prints using leaves, flowers, and other natural objects in one of the oldest photographic printing techniques.

No experience is needed, all materials are provided, and it's a fun activity for kids, adults, and anyone who loves getting creative. Just drop in and make a print to take home!

We’re excited to welcome our first Summer 2026 Artist-in-Residence, Alyssa Sakina Pheobus (@alyssa_sakina_pheobus) to the Helen Frankenthaler Cottage at the CCP!

Alyssa has been developing “Icons for the Eleventh Hour”, a new series of experimental woodblock prints exploring themes of divine presence, sacred geometry, light, and darkness. We’re thrilled to share a glimpse of her work in progress and invite you behind the scenes of her residency.

Join us for a free Artist Talk and Studio Tour on Wednesday, July 15 at 1 PM, where Alyssa will discuss her creative practice, artistic journey, and the ideas shaping her work during her residency.

Discover the possibilities of Monotype Screenprinting with artist Kaitlin Santoro (@kaitlinsantoro) on Saturday, August 22 at the Center for Contemporary Printmaking!

We're excited to welcome Kaitlin back to lead this hands-on workshop where you'll create vibrant, one-of-a-kind prints using ink applied directly to the screen. Explore layering color, creating textures, making stencils, and experimenting with expressive mark-making techniques.

We're partnering with @thealdrich for a special drop-in screenprinting event celebrating “The Aldrich Decennial: I am what is around me,” a major exhibition showcasing artists who live and work throughout Connecticut.

Create your own custom screenprinted Decennial tote bag, or bring a t-shirt, tote, bandana, or other fabric item from home to upcycle and personalize. No experience is necessary—just drop in and print!

Many of the artists featured in the exhibition have strong connections to CCP through residencies, exhibitions, and studio memberships, making this a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Connecticut's vibrant creative community.

Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout history.
