SFV-HPC ENGINE DAY. 🔥 Build the engine. Control the pace. Perform under fatigue. ENGINE DAY develops the aerobic capacity, endurance, and recovery needed to sustain effort longer, recover faster between movements, and keep performing when fatigue sets in. This is where we build the conditioning that carries over to HYROX, hybrid racing, and everyday performance. 📍 SFV Hybrid Performance Center 🔗 Book a class — link in bio 📲 Find us on ClassPass BUILD THE ENGINE. I drove to Malibu to run metabolic testing on elite Hyrox athlete Hunter McIntyre and his HAOS team. Metabolic testing measures exactly how your body produces energy, how efficiently you burn fat versus carbs, where your thresholds sit, and what your VO2 max actually is. For an athlete like Hunter, that data is the difference between guessing and knowing. My goal is to make this kind of testing easy, flexible, and affordable, not just for elite performers but for anyone who cares about performance and long-term health. The same metrics that optimize a pro athlete are the ones that predict how well and how long you live. This is what evidence-based coaching actually looks like. Real data, not guesswork. by @contentfactoryinc

Hustle was never just working hard. The best athletes in the world outwork everyone, then they do the thing most people skip. They collect their own data. Hard work builds the engine. Smart work tells you how to use it. That is what this is. Testing @huntthesheriff @that_nutritionguydarryl and @gogettaal VO2 maxes, the size of their aerobic engine, the most oxygen their body can take in and use at their limit. The number sets the ceiling, but the number alone is not the story, and that is where most people stop. For a sport like HYROX it is not about who has the biggest engine. HYROX is roughly half running and half strength endurance stations, so you are living near your threshold over and over while fatigued. The winners are the ones who run economically and clear fatigue fastest between stations. That is two kinds of efficiency. Biomechanical, how little energy you waste in the movement itself, your stride, how you carry a sled or a lunge. Biochemical, how well your mitochondria burn fuel and clear the byproducts of hard efforts. Train both and you hold a higher pace at a lower cost. This is why the test has to be built around the athlete, not pulled off a chart. The data only matters if you know how to read it and turn it into zones, pacing, and fueling for your sport. The grind gets you in the room. The data wins the race. If you train for HYROX or anything that lives at your threshold and you are still guessing at your zones, stop guessing. I bring the lab to you and build the test around your sport. DM me the word ENGINE and I will show you how it works. Respect to @haostraining for trusting the process and to the team behind the lens @contentfactoryinc by @contentfactoryinc
The hardest part in life isn’t dreaming, but rather the price one must pay in order to fulfill them 🌙 And in this story, the price I must pay in order to fulfill this next dream of mine is leaving Los Angeles 🛫 What first started as just talking at the WSF has now become a reality! I want to give a very big thank to my newest teacher @adolfoindacochea for having opened his doors to me at his school @empiredancestudionyc . Adolfo has been my biggest inspiration since I started dancing over 10yrs ago and now I get to train directly under him 🥹 Muchas gracias maestro por la opportunidad! Y por su puesto, no viene sin trabajar duro💪🏼 This isn’t goodbye LA ☀️ but a see you soon. So in this next chapter of mine, I will be temporarily living in New York City🗽 by @contentfactoryinc
