Grateful & Inspired: This showcase is our love letter to our dance community. We see your exhausting practices. We hear the notifications from the group chats organizing rehearsals and costumes. Feel the headaches from constantly searching for a place with a balance of budget, space, and (if you’re lucky) mirrors. We empathize with the heartache of an injury and the mental load of reblocking to cover. The sigh of relief when you go from start to finish of the full set for the first time. Landing the trick for the first time in rehearsal with music. The final breath of the last eight count on stage.

It’s not an easy process, and we are grateful that you’ve shared the end of it with us. Thank you to all of the crews who took part of this journey with us and THANK YOU to the following people for making it possible:

Front of House/Planner: @madisonbadua
Admin/Planner: @sairav.anilegna
Marketing/Planner: @isabellaherron
Back of House: @cheriezibreezie @vroncamarie

Videographers: @ori3nvisuals (@ruizjohn @shaneikaaguilar)
Photographer: @natejayco
Emcees: @jujuthequi @don2faithful @jagip
Sound: @lothakidd
Location: Farrington High School

Volunteers: Aunty Shun & Aunty Vitae, Emily, @mi.emour, @icequeenteaa, @eric_phyolin, @tia.aau, & many of our own Vill dancers, families, and friends

Sponsors: @smokinwingsofhawaii @kngsmn.empire

Sincerely,
The Vill 🏘️
