For the first time at an artist market I made a live drawing photobooth and people lined up to get one ! I was really happy to see that I almost had to chain everyone for 8 hours straight 😳
It was a really incredible feeling and thank you for everyone tagging me ! And thanks to @continental_bxl for selecting me for this market. I can’t wait to participate to another one !! 🥹

I’m trying some things with a mix of watercolors, alcohol markers and colored pencils and I really like the result ! I’m getting to flesh out my characters even though winter is coming 🥶

Mother Sea 🧜‍♀️🧜‍♂️

This is a series of experimentations and illustrations for the Queer Exhibition of @continental_bxl.
It uses the allegory of the mermaid to echo trans identity. These projects also mark a return to my hometown, Toulon. This is achieved through digital drawings over film photographies that I took of Toulon. This return allows me to reconnect with « la mer » (the sea) but also « la mère » (maternal figure) and to return to the womb with a body that is more in tune with my gender.

Voici une série d’expérimentations et d’illustrations pour l’Exposition Queer du @continental_bxl.
J’utilise l’allégorie de la sirène pour faire écho à la transidentité. Ces projets marquent un retour arrière à ma ville natale, Toulon. Cela se fait notamment à travers du dessin digital sur des photos argentiques que j’ai pris de Toulon. Ce retour arrière me permet de rejoindre « la mer » mais aussi « la mère » (figure maternelle) et de revenir dans le berceau avec un corps qui est plus en accord avec mon genre.

Mother Sea 🌊

From May to September I got to be exposed at the @continental_bxl ‘s Queer Exhibition

« Mother Sea » was an exhibition around mermaids where each visitor could contribute to the room by drawing their own mermaid through my template.
This was to celebrate Pride month and to highlight my point of view around my gender and my trans identity.

Unfortunately because of several personal problems before the exhibition, I couldn’t create all the illustrations and layouts that I planned. But it was a good experience and it’s an exhibition that I can redo with more preparations ! 🐙

De Mai à Septembre, j’ai pu exposer à l’Exposition Queer du @continental_bxl

« Mother Sea » était une exposition autour de la sirène où chaque visiteurs pouvait contribuer à la pièce en dessinant leur propre sirène à l’aide de mes templates.
Le but était de célébrer la Pride Month et de mettre en valeur mon point de vue autour de mon genre et de ma transidentité.

Malheureusement à cause de divers problèmes personnels avant l’exposition, je n’ai pas pu faire toutes les illustrations et mise en scène que je voulais. Mais ce fut une bonne expérience et une exposition que je peux renouveler avec plus de préparation ! 🐙
