20 years. 20 dubs. One sound-system journey. 🔥

@therealqueenomega’s “Feeling Good” is one of the perfect entries into the @control_tower_sound story.

Behind every dubplate there is an artist, a session, an idea and a moment in the life of the sound. “20 DUBS FOR 20 YEARS” celebrates that culture and the work built over time.

And the story is still moving.

Inside the session. 🎙️🔥

We found footage from the recording of @@therealqueenomega “FEELING GOOD” for @@control_tower_sound , so we are opening the archive.

Before a dubplate reaches the sound system, there is the booth, the voice and the moment when the special takes shape. This is the first of six studio moments we will share on YouTube and one of two we are bringing to Instagram.

Not just a tune, a dubplate made for the sound. 🔊

@therealqueenomega “Feeling Good” was recorded for @control_tower_sound , carrying that special energy that only custom sound-system music can bring.

This clip still hits hard, so we’re giving it the space it deserves again.

More from the Control Tower dubplate catalogue coming over the next months.

Bringing this one back into the spotlight. 🔥

Queen Omega “Feeling Good”, recorded as a dubplate for Control Tower Sound.

A powerful voice, a unique version and a clip that deserves to keep living far beyond its original release.

Over the next months, we’ll also be putting more focus on the work behind Control Tower Sound, its dubplate culture and the mixtapes to come.

Run it again. 🔊

“They have the most Queen Omega dubs!”

Hearing @therealqueenomega say this during her interview with @reggaeville really means a lot to us 😍

In this excerpt, she speaks about the mixtape we created together to celebrate 20 years of friendship, music, trust and connection: 20 Dubs for 20 Years. A project built with love, history and respect, bringing together two decades of memories, dubplates, collaborations and real reggae culture.

She also mentions the music video for the cover of Nina Simone’s timeless classic “Feeling Good”, another very special piece of this journey.

Maximum respect and gratitude to Queen Omega for the love ❤️ , the trust and the energy over all these years. And big thanks to Reggaeville 🙏🏼 for this beautiful interview and for continuing to shine a light on reggae artists and culture worldwide.

Watch the “Feeling Good” video now on YouTube, and make sure you listen to the full mixtape 20 Dubs for 20 Years.

20 years deep.
Friendship, music, dubplates and respect.

👑 Recorded 16 years ago…
and still sounding timeless today. 🔥

If you know Queen Omega on this riddim…
you definitely need to hear this alternate version of The Trees. 👀🔊

This rare recording perfectly captures the spirit of the “20 Dubs For 20 Years” mixtape by Control Tower Sound, celebrating two decades of exclusive dubplates, memories and sound system history. 📼🔥
