Mr. Joseph Pilates a. was a real person b. published two books and c. invented dozens of pieces of apparatus to use inside of his system of exercise. He referred to the “Trinity of mind body and spirit” often.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While a lot of times, quotes you see online attributed to Mr. Pilates are not actually his quotes, you can rely on this one.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Not mind or body, but mind and body” - the true embodiment of Pilates as a system of exercise and movement that soothes the body and the mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We had a little social time at the Co-op last weekend. It’s nice to get to hang out when we’re not in-between clients or cleaning up. Wine, sparkling water, cheese, crackers, fruit and quality time. ✨

Thank you to @kinzaskakes and @withvivica for creating such a sweet gathering. by @contrologyco.op
