Thank you @rollingstoneaus and to the Gold Coast and tweed community who provide opportunities for kids to feel valued and to be better. Physically, mentally, academically and emotionally. (Link in the bio) by @cooee.gc

The best TEAM in Australia is the best way to describe Cooee. Regardless of the role you played. You are our support network and you all help us win. @surfingaus inter-schools competition was no different. Thank you for a great event and a memory we carry with us. by @cooee.gc

For some people it is as simple as a smile or a good morning. Often this is all it takes to help create a shift and to free someone from the funk they may be facing. @onewaveisallittakes is a charity organisation that celebrates the importance of community. Thank you @wsl for building on this platform and giving colour to the stage. @reefheazlewood @sally_fitz, @livphyland and @granttrebilco you are fantastic role models for our young people. We are so very grateful. by @cooee.gc

Yet again. Another great event and great sense of community. Thank you @surfingaus and all involved. by @cooee.gc

Another fantastic result at the Australian Inter-schools Surfing Championship. Such wonderful engagement from all teams, boys and girls. Congratulations year 12 girls on the podium finish. What a great way to finish your schooling career! by @cooee.gc

One smile, one word, one wave is all it takes to shift one’s perspective. Thank you @onewaveisallittakes and @wsl for giving our young people the tools and opportunity to practice.

Our Year 12 Media Arts student Jai has just made his TV presenting debut on the weekend across @foxtel , @kayosports and @sbsnews_au as part of the @superseries.official broadcast team in Adelaide! This is a significant milestone, and he is believed to be the youngest motorsport presenter to appear as a reporter on TV in Australian motorsports history.

And has been locked in to host 12 rounds throughout the rest of the year all across Australia.

This is a fantastic example of a student applying their skills in a real industry context at a very high level.

Jai’s professionalism, confidence and passion for media are clearly paying off, and it’s exciting to see where this pathway will lead.

A special shoutout to his mentor Matt Barber, whose guidance and support have played an important role in helping Jai reach this level.

A great moment for Jai and something for our school and Media Arts program to be very proud of. 👏 by @cooee.gc

We’re so proud of Ziggy, who has been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 ISA World Junior Surfing Championships in Peru as part of the Australian Junior Surfing Team, the Irukandji's!

As the reigning 2024 Under-16 World Champion, Ziggy now needs our support to help cover costs like flights, accommodation, and food.

Congratulations to @cooee.gc student Ziggy, who has achieved an incredible milestone by winning the @wsl QS 6000 event in the Philippines — only her fifth QS event to date.

Ziggy, the 2024 U/16 ISA World Junior Champion, has grown up between Bali and the Gold Coast and continues to demonstrate world-class skill, resilience, and humility both in and out of the water.

Ziggy’s win has catapulted her to No. 4 in the WSL Qualifying Series rankings — a phenomenal achievement for a 17-year-old balancing both elite sport and senior schooling as part of the COOEE program here at Elanora State High School.

Congrats Ziggy!! by @cooee.gc
