This year humbled me, stretched me, and taught me how to let go of control. Losing my job reminded me that redirection is protection and now I’m in a career that feels right. Losing a close friend reminded me to love louder, to listen deeper, and to never take people for granted.

I’m learning to find joy in the smallest things and peace in what’s out of my hands. Here’s to softness, surrender, and showing up with love that costs nothing. 💛

🫶🏽26. This year has been a journey of alignment, healing, and stepping deeper into my purpose. I’ve learned to trust the divine timing of my life and embrace the lessons meant to shape me. ❤️‍🩹😮‍💨I’m grateful for the love, connections, and light that carried me through, and for the strength God continues to pour into me. 🤲🏽

Here’s to walking in power, glowing in grace, and serving a little bit of looks while doing it. The best is yet to come. 🤭

Honestly, last year was a gut punch for me to say goodbye to something and hello to other things. To leave some things that weren’t truly for the best. To really stand and create boundaries. Having to get to know the gal I was again. Heading into the adult world, being me with no shame. Learning to take time with growth. I’m happy to see more of me in this year, good or bad. There has been so much that has happen in the time loop of now and when I took these photos. There have been some blessings and some set backs. There have been moments when my fortitude was of steel and when my world was shaking beneath me. I want to speak into the existence that I will continue to make my own strides to grow and unlearn things till I am what I am supposed to be. I have recently learn about Ubuntu philosophy and I think this something to really consider with the idea that the idea of community is one of the building blocks of society. Aurde Lorde has also wrote about that importance of community. “umntu ngumntu ngabantu” means that a person is a person through other people. So consider each other in times and yourself. 💛 Sending love and light to us all. by @cookiehuggermonter
