This week has been replete with news and events that have elicited a wide range of emotions. There have been births, deaths, anniversary celebrations, annual commerations, health related matters and birthdays.

I am grateful for the gift of discernment that God has bestowed upon me. Yesterday, I sensed that a few family members were on my mind and heart, and I called each of them in the order that felt intuitive. When I called my aunt's home and didn't receive an answer, I reached out to my cousin, Annette Brewer who cares for her - thank you for answering! I was informed that she had just been hospitalized. This evening, I received the news that my Great Aunt Equilla, the matriarch of my father's side of the family, passed away at the age of 97. I give thanks to God for the years we shared, filled with stories, praise, love, and laughter. Despite everything, life continues! This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!

We had a good time seeing two of the most talented men who we watched grow from boys to men. #USHER & #Chris Brown
They showed homage to Michael Jackson and Prince 🔥
Two of the greatest ever lived.
I'm a night owl, but baybeee, I was yawning by 10:30. 😂
One thing I didn't care for was the stadium set up,it felt too big for the performers, and acoustics weren't good.

Thank you to everyone who called, texted, messaged via Facebook and showed up to celebrate my birthday!

April has always been a full month for me-work deadlines, wedding anniversary and my birthday.
I now ask "How did I do all this?"...oh I was younger 😂

Needless to say, it always works out. I am grateful to celebrate it all.

On this birthday celebration, I reflected on God's receipts in my life!

Just to name a few,
Wisdom and trust in His guidance
Gifted with health and mental clarity
The autonomy to pursue my aspirations
The ability to be a blessing to those around me
Opportunities that are divinely ordained cannot be closed
Trusting my discernment, guided by faith
I am beautifully crafted, celebrating my uniqueness
Calmness to navigate any intense situation
Confidence to embark on new territories

Happy Birthday and Welcome to My New Chapter!

Thank you, God 🙌🏾 by @cookisit

Happy Birthday Blessings, Nephew @kaveonbohanon
May this year of what's considered adulthood remind you of your roots and who you are. You have already beat the odds. Remember the favor God has on your life.
Continue to blaze trails... you vs you! I love you ❤️ by @cookisit
