I’ve had this sculpture now for 25yrs and as many of you know it’s something I acquired during my time down at Ground Zero, it indeed was part of the Twin Towers. It sat in my office for years and then it moved around with me a for a bit and during that time I always showed it to people who expressed a interest, as it’s truly a rare historical piece. This year I asked a local shop in the area if they would mind displaying it for more people to see, and if anyone would like to hold it and feel it’s immense weight and density by all means be my guest! My only hope is that we as a society never forget that day and how it affected us all. I for one always think back to the positivity that came from it-a nation bonded together, American flags flying everywhere, people treating each other with great respect and empathy & a sense of patriotism that I for one will never forget-truly an amazing time. For anyone in the area it’s on display at the South Carolina Gun Company in Greer (a great shop btw), go grab a coffee next door and stop by & meet the staff and do some shopping and see a piece of history, and one last thing…
NEVER FORGET🙏🏻♥️🇺🇸 by @coolassjoe2021

I guess it was last week I’m on a bicycle ride & I came upon a crash on the trail involving a 85yo rider(who was built like a piece of iron). I stopped, assessed & stabilized the gentleman & stayed put until the medics arrived. Despite him being in some pain & in shock he held fast and remained focused and alert & we even shared a few laughed when I told him he was a total badass for handling things like he was. I hope we all look into and practice some kind of real world training because things do happen in life and we really have to be prepared but for ourselves and the sake of others🙏🏻🤙🏻👊🏻🔥♥️ by @coolassjoe2021

Godspeed Legend🙏🏻 by @coolassjoe2021

Rest easy champ🙏🏻
For those of you who don’t recognize the name or face, Alex Zanardi was more than a racer, he was a true force of nature. When a horrific racing accident took his legs he not only survived, he thrived. The fire in him couldn’t be kept down, he simply shifted gears into another form of racing-hand cycling. In that discipline he was a multi time Paralympic champ all the while racing in adaptive vehicles of all kinds-a true lover of racing and keeping the internal flame burning hard and bright.
Godspeed champ-give everyone a few warm up laps before you go out there and start lapping them, just make sure you give them a good wave & thumbs as they watch your tail lights get smaller! Thanks for the memories & keep th rubber side down🙏🏻🤙🏻👊🏻 by @coolassjoe2021
