My goal this year was to compete in a Jiu Jitsu competition. Fortunately, @crazy88mma brought back the King of the White Belts so what better way to compete than a place where I am most comfortable because honestly, I wasn’t too confident in my Jiu Jitsu skills and I didn’t think I would get the blue belt anyway.

So, I started doing strength and conditioning with @southside_201754. I started attending way more classes with @incorporeal_mind, @sergiovilas, and of course @tyeryanbjj which he paid special attention to me. Ended up doing two a days 3x a week because I will never give up Muay Thai. Got folded up daily by upper belts, thanks @keithcebula, became more flexible against my will, and INVERSION?!

In the end, it all proved to be worth it. I placed first in both No Gi and Gi, and @griffinbjj the GOAT promoted me to BLUE BELT! 🔵🥹

Thank you Dani, Crystal, and Dorian for signing up because literally it was only us 😂 Special shout-out to @lilolesley for making me WORK even when I was tired 🫡, @smileyface_carmel_ for talking me out of overthinking multiple times, and @duke.neil for coming on Saturdays just to help me. 🙂‍↔️ SHOUT-OUT TO @crazy88owingsmills!

I don’t know where I’m going from here but at least I can finally say @shawnuth_thegreat and @thegreatbigbear, “I am the Hammer!” 😭🥹😂

This stripe test week was more exciting than normal. We had not one, but TWO advanced kids Muay Thai promotions. 🔥🔥 Sometimes working with kids has its challenges, but when you see them progress and accomplish what you imagined for them and what they imagined for themselves, it’s really rewarding! HUGE congrats to Kris-Anthony for getting promoted to Muay Thai Orange belt and Jeremy for getting promoted to Muay Thai Green belt! OSSSS! 😤 taken in Crazy 88 Mixed Martial Arts by @cooldose
