From the CEO of Cooler Comrade, Slade Johnston ( @sladejohnston ) :

Pretty stoked to have been officially granted my first patent!

The @CoolerComrade koozie concept originated when I was 16 years old. I then set a goal to patent it and build a company around it, but it took me a few years to figure out how to do that...

In 2018, I finally got the ball rolling and we were in business. It’s taken 6 years to get the patent so it’s a pretty special moment to see it come full circle.

In the meantime, we’ve become one of the top suppliers for custom koozies in the outdoor industry. Thankful for my team, our factories, our customers, and all the relationships that helped along the way. Blessed more than I deserve and excited to see what the future for the company holds!
