Another year to strive to be fully present, patient, attentive, and loving without abstraction. And what a privilege knowing that in this next year, there will be times where I fall short. But how beautiful? We can live a life of mostly beauty and good if we deliberately choose to see it that way, as good and bad are decisions, not real things. So stop looking for a reason, accept what is, and craft it into the story that is your magnificent life. by @cooley_era

What an historic moment and what a night to remember! More importantly, what a wonderful group of people to share this moment with.

I saw how a good coach can change a persons life. I’ve experienced the good and the bad. I’ve watched how some people come with some knowledge, some skill, some desire, some confidence and a good coach can take that raw material and convert that material into greatness. The most powerful thing you can say to another person is “I believe in you. I see something in you. You have potential”. Which is an idea of kinetic energy that is stored until activated. It is an idea of embryonic growth that you’ll be better today than you were yesterday. That you will be better tomorrow than you were today and that you will never stop getting better.
One of the first coaches to be that for me was Coach Avery…dating back to 2016 when we first met. Where a relationship was immediately built through trust and undoubtedly knowing he would show up in my corner not just in the sport of wrestling, but in this game called life. Fast forward to 2025 kicking off our college coaching debut together. This. This is what it’s about. Not only will I continue to show up for these young athletes, but I’ll be there rocking a full suit. #saintsfamily 💙💛 by @cooley_era
