Hey everybody!
Recently money has been extremely tight and I’m needing to find secondary ways of making money in order to keep paying my bills.

I’ve been practicing to try and do caricature-type drawings in person to hopefully make some money on the side but I’m having a hard time putting myself out there. I’m hoping to do a couple of commissions on here first for the same price to get my confidence up and take any feedback that I can before I start doing it in person.

With that being said, I will be opening 10 slots at a time for drawings of you or any of your loved ones! My prices are as follows:
$10 for one person
+$5 for each extra person in frame
You can choose the background at no extra cost :-)

Please please please dm me if you have any questions! And if you’d like the physical version of your drawing, I’d just ask that you pay for shipping (I don’t have much experience with mailing items so I’m not sure how much that would be), or we can schedule a drop off/pick up if you’re near Mesa :-)

Cali; my life will forever be changed because of you.

I remember the day mom brought you to me like it was yesterday and it’s a story I tell to everyone who asks about you. I had wanted a cat for as long as I could remember and I never thought it would be a possibility because I was so allergic. Mom showed up to pick me up from first grade and pulled behind her the same doll bag I carried my baby doll in. I didn’t think anything of it until I looked inside and saw you. I remember bawling my eyes out and immediately we became inseparable.

When you were small, your favorite position to sleep in was in the crook of my arm. When you grew too big to fit there, you laid on my chest with your paws close to my heart. Every time someone left their bag on the floor unguarded, we would find you in it eventually. You were feisty but sweet when you wanted to be. The only place you loved to be pet was on your forehead but you would tolerate other places. I spent most of my nights before bed memorizing the patterns on your face and thought it was funny how you always looked like you had a dirty nose. The brown on your nose matched that one little brown mouse toy you used to bring everywhere. I remember having to hide that mouse in our junk drawer at night because when you had it, you would meow so loud that the whole neighborhood would hear it. I have so many fond memories of the time I spent with you and they will stick with me for the rest of my life.

Every major life event, you were there. Everyone I’ve ever known and loved, you knew and loved too. You knew about all of my crushes, secrets, goals, and accomplishments. Sometimes it even felt like you had your own opinion on them.

You were with me for 77% of my life, and every year that number will unfortunately grow smaller, but my love for you will never change.

Life has been good! Boyfriend and I started new jobs in July, I finished all of my courses for my degree a couple of weeks ago, and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah :-) animals :-) by @cooliflower_
