AND THAT IS A WRAP.

first and foremost i need to give all glory and thanks to God.

an idea was implemented in my head in mid-August which was to simply make a movie where you could sit down with your homies and have some beers. i chased after this vibe while writing the movie but i also took into consideration how i barely had any money on my pocket to fully fund an action movie with explosions and gunfights. therefore i worked towards my strength which was to make these characters feel raw and fun. one of these characters might become someone’s favorite whether it’s antagonist or protagonist.

i spent about three months preparing and finding the right people who fit these characters. i used my paychecks and credit card to pay for the props and costumes. i worked with what i had and that was what i was constantly keeping in mind.

despite a few workarounds and rewrites, a few reschedules and minor bumps in the road, i did it. we all accomplished something amazing. i have faith in this project and i know that something good will come out of it.

words can’t describe how grateful i am to everyone who helped me with this movie in many different ways. yall are some true blessings! and special shoutout to Josh and Yax for being down to play these roles and go through everything they went through for these characters.

Clip from “Road Trip”, scene shot by @nikowalk3r
Don’t have credits to apply because I didn’t catch anyone’s name, but it was directed by Charlie and lit by Courtney in our film class and features Greg, Max, and Jordan. Just wanted to share because I was proud of how it turned out 😅 by @coolkidscrytoo
