Oh, 2026, how fast you’ve arrived.

The last four years of my life at East Lansing High School have been nothing but a blessing. Through the good days and the bad, there was always a valuable opportunity to learn an important lesson. From getting in trouble for little things, like roaming the hallways, to making lifelong memories with friends, high school was truly an unforgettable experience.

My junior and senior years weren’t always easy. I was constantly stressed, trying to find myself and figure out what I wanted to do with my future. To help with that, I went out and tried different sports, hoping to find the right people and the right path.

Football taught me to embrace the process. The unglamorous effort, hard work, and dedication showed me how to trust the journey rather than focus only on the end goal.

Wrestling taught me that no matter how many times you fall, you can always get back up. Setbacks are a part of life, but they don’t define who you are.

Lacrosse was a sport I knew I would both love and hate at times. Through lacrosse, I learned that it’s okay to ask for help. No matter how embarrassing a situation may feel, there are always people willing to support you and help you grow rather than watch you struggle alone.

Through these sports came incredible friendships with people from different backgrounds who came together to lift each other up and push one another to be better. Those relationships and lessons will stay with me forever.

With that being said, I am proud to be a Trojan graduate.

First and foremost, I want to thank God, the only one above who made all of this possible, for blessing me with this amazing opportunity. I also want to thank my family and friends for their constant love and support, and my coaches who believed in me throughout my high school journey. I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done to help me get to where I am today—not only as a player, but as a person.

After years of hard work, sacrifices, and long nights, I am proud to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Great Lakes Christian College.

I’m proud to represent East Lansing High School, and I want to thank everyone who has been part of my journey.

This is just the beginning, and I’m ready to give everything I have to this next chapter. #agtg #journey 🙏 taken in East Lansing, Michigan by @copacaplot
