RESULTS AT THE END 🤩 I am obsessed with this multi-dimensional copper transformation, the perfect look for autumn! As you know, Copper Queen Education is all about taking inspiration, and thinking outside the box to make it your own, and this is exactly what we did here! AUTUMN TRANSFORMATION 🍂 Yes, I know. I’m sorry to talk about autumn whilst we’re still in the summer months 🫣 But the truth is in my salon, my copper clients are already thinking about their transition into autumn hair! And today I was getting my bestie ready for the Long Road Country music festival this weekend which we are so excited for!! Part 2: The transformation ✨ After the consultation in Part 1, it was time to put the plan into action 👀 Taking everything we discussed - her current hair, what she wanted to achieve and what would work best for her and bringing it all together to create this gorgeous global orange 🍊 Because of the mid-band through her hair, I used different formulations throughout rather than one colour all over. The mid-band needed Triple 0 alongside the same formulation as the roots to really make that orange pop, before melting everything together for a seamless result. I used Yellow Colour for this transformation because it creates such a beautiful fiery orange 🔥 This is exactly why the consultation is such an important part of the process. It allows me to assess what we’re working with and create a colour plan specifically for the hair in front of me, rather than taking a one-formula-fits-all approach 🧡 And safe to say… the transformation did not disappoint 🙌 What do you think of the finished look? 👀 taken in United Kingdom by @copperqueencolourspecialist

Transformation Thursday! ✨ This transformation was SO much fun! But there were quite a few things we needed to take into consideration when working on my client today. We had regrowth, banding, highlights through the mid-lengths and ends, plus faded ends that had turned into a beautiful golden copper. This definitely wasn’t a straightforward colour correction. Without a strong understanding of copper hair science, I wouldn’t have been able to achieve the result we got today. I used three different formulations on my client: 🤎 Roots: 8.44+ + 8.32 with 30 vol 💜 Violet band: Same formulation with 000 + yellow and copper pigments with 30 vol ✨ Ends: 8.44+ + gold pigments with 10 vol Now, I know I’ve shared the formulations, but here’s the important part… A formula is never just a formula. There are so many other factors you need to take into account — including the brand you’re using, your client’s natural undertones, hair integrity, texture, previous colour history and the level you’re trying to achieve. This is why understanding WHY you’re choosing a formula is so much more powerful than simply copying one.
