The future is thrilling, but it also teaches us to loosen our grip on what was only meant to be held for a season. It invites us into innovation, into the understanding that the best things often wait on the far side of comfort. The Spanish burned the boats, Elisha burned the Oxen, the Disciples pursued the new.

Choosing a life of safety, comfort, and predictability is its own form of domestication holding the future hostage.

Pioneers, innovators, the “first ones” we know the weight of this calling. Much of it isn’t for us. In fact, very little is. It’s for others. For others to see what’s possible. To stand in spaces where we statistically were never meant to be, where even we are shocked at what God allows us to do. When people question how we got there, all we can say is, “Honestly, I’m just as surprised as you. That’s why I’m grateful I’m not the one who does the choosing. Because if you really knew me, you’d be even more confused.”

But it was never about being qualified. If anything, the only real qualification has always been: be brave. Brave enough to pursue a future that has never existed in your bloodline. Brave enough to bring into reality what wasn’t even a thought in previous generations. Brave enough to look at what unfolds and simply say, “But God.”

That’s the wonder of His choosing. I’m grateful He chose me to pioneer, to trailblaze, to be the first, so that others can reap what I’ve sown. My family, my spiritual brothers and sisters, my future generations seeing God’s DNA in everything I do. And I’m eternally grateful for those who paved the way before me, whose seeds I now get to harvest. Whose tears, time and correction has shaped who I am today and who I’m becoming. To each city or country that still echoes and shapes my worldview. Thank you.

I’m grateful for where I came from. I’m grateful for who I’ve become. But honestly, I’m even more excited about who I’m becoming—the pursuit of the unknown, the future. I’m looking forward to the next 60 years.

I refuse to simply exist. I choose to live.
I refuse a domesticated life. I choose a life of purpose and courage.

Creativity awakens courage—the arena where the unseen becomes seen, where the soul breathes and comes alive. I’ve had so much fun working on this piece; it’s challenged me to create without boundaries, to simply express what’s within and bring the invisible to the surface. There’s something unique about holding beauty in your hands while watching what once lived only in your mind come to life. Regresamos de Puerto Rico con un corazón lleno. Cada día fue intervenido por la gracia y favor De Dios. Puerto Rico está experimentando crecimiento fresco, nuevo y divino. Creciendo en la visión y misión pero también en relación con Dios. La obra es mucha. Quedamos impactados por la gente de esta isla maravillosa y sabemos que Dios está haciendo cosas especiales e únicas en Guaynabo y Aguas Buenas. Estamos emocionados de caminar en las nuevas puertas que se están abriendo para este próximo año. “Eh aquí yo hago cosa nueva…” Gracias a todo por su apoyo y oraciones. Fue una gran victoria y emocionados para las que hay de venir. #rippleeffect.
