a bunch of 2D’s. trying multicaption again 🎱#gorillaz #gorillazfanart #artistsofinstagram

stylo. I love the plastic beach era interviews where these two are going thru it.

2d’s migraine medication. when I was a kid I used to write fanfic about this LOL 🫪

2d & Miku. If you have ever seen my art this was only bound to happen. I colored this on my phone which is why it’s a little strange.

I drew this last night using my finger since my iPad pencil broke

Zombie 2d. Think hip albatross.

Something something more 2d but with white eyes.

humanz 2d waking up from a nap on the couch.

I didn’t finish this one but as I look at all of these i am realizing that I drew an inordinately high number of kind of angsty 2D’s

the manifesto 2d on left and some of my first 2d drawings from last year on the right

This was going to be 2d with a migraine but noodle was jumping on his shoulders from self-titled era

2d playing the keyboard but I didn’t draw the keyboard

ok I just really wanted to show off the details on this one… gyaruo-esque 2d spray painting hehehe. My favorite might actually be the stitches on his back.

Also for fun this is art I drew in 2015. Not much has changed

YAY thank you for all the love on the last noodle drawings. I just gotta say: I love 2D’s 3d models pre-HUMANZ. by @corahoshi

a bunch of noodles 🍜🦍💥 trying out this new multicaption feature

#gorillaz #gorillazfanart #artistsoninstagram

humanz noodle. this one was a hit on x for some reason. I did it in an hour

Noodle convinced Russel to let her try out her little kid makeup kit on him. circa self-titled

cyborg noodle. I didn’t draw the hands properly

noodle but wearing my outfit LOL. I think she’s rocking it. I love drawing noodle as a kid because when I was a kid I thought she was the coolest person ever. even though I’m an adult now my admiration hasn’t faded

kong studios

random unfinished noodle. Would like to take another stab at this one day. kinda based on the melancholy vibes post- el mañana

Noodle but with an atrocious outfit that I think she could somehow pull off. my favorite part is the bullet lolita headdress

my favorite look from the mountain. I recently (somewhat lawlessly) came into possession of a festival poster with this look on it and it’s quickly become one of my most loved possessions. I pick up a very nicely priced frame for it off of Facebook marketplace later this week whenever the seller deigns to return my correspondence. It’s a very cheap Walmart frame but only paying 5$ for it makes it the most beautiful thing ever.
Also this caption is broken so this is tranz mv noodle too apparently

tranz mv noodle doodle. I never really loved that outfit bc she doesn’t give noodle vibes if that makes sense. But it’s cool

humanz noodle again. this one isn’t my favorite and I almost didn’t include it but eh whatever. I have a love hate relationship with the art direction of humanz but I do love how noodle sometimes looks so auntie core she’s really come full circle. sometimes I forget she’s a decade older than me lol

my own alternate universe designs for noodle & also 2d is here. Kinda fantasy cyberfuture-ish vibes idk. There’s a murdoc and Russel too but they aren’t the best so I won’t show em

yayyy this was my gorillaz noodle bender from this past year condensed into one post goodbyeeee by @corahoshi

Today’s my birthday :) thanks for all the well wishes. I thought I was 23 for most of the past year, but it turns out I’m actually 23 starting today! How exciting!

Here’s some drawings - things ive been thinking about, bodies and forms, and the feeling of what could have been. As i prepare for the next big transition phase of my life, I’m finding drawing as the best way to sort out my thoughts.

I hope that I’ll be lucky to enjoy another year full of good art and family & friends and self discovery :) by @corahoshi

forgotten painting / 2023

it seems fitting that this painting got lost for a year, considering it deals with things hidden behind other things; an almagamation of bugs with too many legs within damp basements and fronded creatures in the deep. another painting started without a sketch or final destination in mind - i wanted to try layering gouache. it’s interesting to see how the themes I was just starting to try out in this painting have resurfaced and morphed into my current art.
