You don’t need expensive workbooks or fancy toys to build strong math skills at home! 🧮✨
Early number readiness is all about hands-on experiences and recognizing numbers in everyday life. Your kitchen is actually full of simple items that double as incredible early learning tools!

Stop throwing away your empty egg cartons! 🛑🥚 They are secretly one of the most powerful (and free!) early math tools in your kitchen.

If your little one can recite numbers from 1 to 10, that’s a great start—but true number readiness happens when they connect the number name to the actual quantity (what we call one-to-one correspondence).

Here is how you can transform an egg carton into a hands-on numeracy game in under 2 minutes:

1️⃣ Number the Slots: Write numbers 1 through 12 inside each cup (or start with 1 to 6 for younger toddlers).

2️⃣ Grab a Counting Object: Use pom-poms, buttons, pasta shells, or dried beans!

3️⃣ Play & Count: Have your child count out the exact number of objects to match the number in each slot.

💡 Bonus Skill: Hand them a pair of kitchen tongs or a spoon to pick up the items! This secretly builds the hand strength and fine motor control they’ll need for holding a pencil later.

She scored 100% on the test!

100% on test day doesn't happen by accident—it happens with intentional practice!

Building strong foundational habits and targeted review worksheets gives students the exact confidence they need when test time comes. So proud of this milestone! 💖
