Bienvenue chez @coffee.up.ge , une nouvelle adresse tenue par deux passionnés de montres et de bon café @coraly_rt et @watch.hannya

L’ambiance ? Un mélange de bois clair, de meubles chinés, d’ouvrages horlogers et d’illustrations de @maurocarraro aux traits bleus et feuilles d’or.

Le café ? Il vient tout droit de chez @driproasters, une micro-torréfaction bernoise appréciée pour ses profils nets.

Pour accompagner cela, une petite sélection de douceurs faites maison par Coralie : comme les cookies et palets bretons.

Les chroniques ça va peut être continuer ! J’espère que vous avez prit plaisir à me suivre dans mes aventures et comprendre le process derrière l’ouverture du café. Les épisodes sont assez long, le but c’est de vous inclure à l’histoire qu’on a commencé à écrire il y a quelques mois et vous offrir ma perspective de ce petit @coffee.up.ge
@watch.hannya famille et amis nous ont prêté main forte aussi bien physiquement que psychologique et je suis très fière de voir tout ce chemin parcouru depuis novembre 🙏

En quelques chiffre le café c’est :
• 5 mois de brainstorming et travaux intensifs
• 24 heures de doute
• 6 métiers rencontrés (architecte, peintres, plombier, menuisier, ingénieur, électricien)
•2 semaines et demi de ponçage
•+ de 430 heures sur Canva, Instagram et CapCut
•14 aller retour dans des brocantes, boutiques de seconde main, marketplace aux 4 coins de la Suisse
•un travail acharné 7/7
•2 passions réunies en 1 lieu 🫶🏼

It’s been a while — and for good reason. Opening the café has been a whirlwind, a beautiful chaos that swept me off my feet and stole all my time. But some stories just can’t stay untold.

So today, I’m sharing with you one of the final chapters of my chronicles — a piece of the puzzle that brings everything into focus.

Coffee Up in Geneva, the first watch-themed café I’ve ever been to!
Run by two passionate watch lovers, this cozy spot is where horology meets specialty coffee. You can instantly tell from Coralie’s wrist that they know their stuff.

They’ve added a unique twist: their menu features photos of watches on spoons, rumor has it… they got the idea from me 😂

EPISODE VIII: Building things together 🫶🏼

Kealan & I met five years ago in New Zealand, where we discovered two great loves—coffee and each other. ☕❤️

We started out as waiters, barmaids, and baristas, working our way up to managers, and along the way, we became part of a passionate coffee community.

Watches, however, entered Kealan’s life much earlier. At just 14, he spotted a Rolex in a shop window, and from that moment, timepieces became more than just accessories—they became storytellers, carrying history across generations. He passed this passion on to me, sharing the beauty of mechanical artistry and precision.

In our café, these two worlds come together. We created a space for epicureans—those who appreciate life’s finest pleasures, from the perfect cup of coffee to the timeless elegance of a beautifully crafted watch. Because some things, just like great coffee and great timepieces, are meant to be savored. ⏳✨
