Day of Design is Coral Gables’ first design district promenade, uniting the city’s leading showrooms for a day of dedicated workshops, panels, and receptions.

September 22, 2026

Day of Design brings together a curated group of showrooms for an afternoon-into-evening experience celebrating the showrooms, craftsmanship, and creative energy found within Coral Gables’ design community.

As the first community design-focused, the program is designed to connect designers, tastemakers, entrepreneurs, and design-forward audiences with the city’s growing design scene through a full day of programming all centered on a single idea: a day where design takes over the district.

“The inaugural Day of Design marks a defining moment for South Florida, positioning Coral Gables as the region’s must-experience destination for design and elevated living,” - Produced by @byronocordero, Founder, @corderoconsulting

Bravo! Last week: a little over 80 designers, architects, real estate agents, stylists, media, and more joined our illuminating conversation at the intersection of design, psychology, and real estate last week @dexelance.

A few takeaways:
💡 Vision without intention is obsolete
💡 Clients come to you for your expertise. Putting their best interest comes before their preference
💡 Knowledge is power. Researching the area, the home, its provenance, the lifestyle around it, will prove to be your secret weapon
💡Purpose. The faster you can dissect it, the quicker you will get to your solution.

Moderated by @sean_santiago Deputy Editor of @elledecor, the panel will feature:
🔅our client: 🏡 Jason Saft, Founder, @stagedtosellhome
🎨 Powerhouse Designer: @noznozawa, Founder, Noz Design
🏛️ @brownstoneboys — Jordan Noah Slocum and Barry Brandon Bordelon

He stages to sell and stages to slay. 🖼️✨

We’re beyond proud to share that our very own Jason Saft ( @stagedtosellhome ) has been named one of @apartmenttherapy Design Changemakers — and rightfully so. Jason has been redefining what home means for New Yorkers for over a decade, one impeccably styled space at a time. His inclusion in this year’s list celebrates his role in pushing the design world forward with heart, humor, and high-impact design.

Shoutout to the rest of this year’s powerhouse class of changemakers — a dream team of creativity, culture, and vision:

Miami’s design community showed up and showed out. ✨

Hudson Valley Lighting Group joined forces with Moniomi for an evening of design and conversation at Maison & Co., with Modern Luxury as the event’s media sponsor.

The evening brought together designers, creatives, and industry leaders to share ideas, connect, and celebrate the people and partnerships shaping Miami’s design community.

Step inside @maisonmischief’s bold, maximalist world. ✨

Earlier this week, guests got the unique opportunity to meet the artists and experience their artistry at work inside the world of Maison Mischief. Maison Mischief was born from its award-winning interior design studio, where color, pattern, andmaximalism have always ruled.

Its clients never came to it for”safe.” They came for boldness. For joy. For spaces that actually saysomething.

Maison Mischief exists for those who crave personality, drama, and delight in theirhomes. Every piece it curates invites touch, sparks conversation, and adds alittle delicious disruption. An unexpected curve. A playful finish. A bold detail.

That’s the magic. taken in Maison Mischief by @corderoconsulting

Coral Gables became a canvas for creativity during Day of Design. ✨

From a ribbon cutting and hands-on artistry at Maison Mischief, to conversations on enduring design at the Coral Gables Museum, the art of the Italian kitchen at Scavolini, and an evening exploring lighting as art at Maison & Co., the day brought design to life across four destinations in the City Beautiful.

Produced by Cordero Consulting, Day of Design showcased the creativity, craftsmanship and vision that continue to shape Coral Gables.

Four locations. One day dedicated to design. 🧡
