Had an absolute blast rehearsing Gliere Huit Morceaux no. 1 with Caroline. I thank her for her patience with me and trying to catch up my playing skills. #cello #violin #daytonohio by @corey.flac

Been having an absolute blast transcribing a hidden gem from the Gem City. This is Toads and Mice's song 1920ous from their Dark Party album circa 2010. While they were around during my time playing shows at the attic, I never caught them live. Some of the most fascinating—and subversive—guitar playing I've ever heard.

Been playing the cello for about a month now. Bowing is starting to get easier and my intonation is a lot better than when I first started; however, I've had to file down a new bridge to get the action correct, so I was learning wrong from the start. Anyway, this instrument is so much more fun for me than the guitar—and I still have a long way to go before I'm satisfied.

@yoyoma You got any advice for a guitar player converting to cello?

Philip J Fry: "I can hear all this great music in my head, but my stupid hands can't keep up!"

I feel that. 7 bars of Bach, and I still feel like I'm at the starting line. Intonation is getting a little bit better though. by @corey.flac

Yeehaw Creep. Alternating bars of 4/4 and 7/8. Almost at speed for how I intend it to be played. Sorry Thom I know the discography, but gotta arrange the hits first.

Sometimes even a single chord can inspire you. This is the kind of music that raises hairs, but gives us a glimpse into a world of sounds beyond what the western ears have trained us to hear. Can't wait to discover more #microtonal sounds.

For context, this is based on a G 7 sharp 11 chord, but the 7th and 3rd are tuned to the natural harmonic and the C is only half sharp. It's biting and beautiful. by @corey.flac

Here's a throwback from my childhood. Made this arrangement for a show my band @__sheller__ played on Halloween weekend. Full tabs will be available when I decide on which repository to upload them to. #thomasthetankengine #guitar #tabs by @corey.flac

Re-arranged some #Chopin for my 7 string. Definitely don't have the classical chops I once had—nor the nails, but I'm trying to reconnect with that side of my playing. #classicalguitar on #electric by @corey.flac

Faking the #bleed rhythm by @meshuggah using two strings and unisons on the B and E string. Start by down stroking the E, up stroke on E and B and then down string B. by @corey.flac

Circling back to this technique. Kinda sweeping, kinda tremolo picking. What do you think? #guitar #technique by @corey.flac
