Shoutout to Cackle Farms!! We grabbed a handful of their products to try at our house and Eden LOVED the “frog balls” (pickled Brussels sprouts). She kept asking if we can grow our own and if she can eat the whole jar. Eila was too afraid to try because “she doesn’t like to eat frogs”.

Happy 34th birthday to my wife. Meghin is my best friend, partner in ministry, and sacrificial mother to my children. She’s a crabrangoon eating, Disney park loving, garden planning, home decoring, Bible studying kind of gal. She takes care of all family logistics, always is planning our next adventure, homeschools both girls, and grinds her own mill for homemade breads. This past year, she has learned to really like the Jags, the Lord of the Rings, and reading on a Kindle.

She is my Encarnación, and I am Nacho.

It’s always strange to run into my book in unexpected places.

I’m at Harding this week taking a graduate class called Advanced Theological Research. Spending massive amounts of time learning library systems.

Just for kicks, I did an advance search on my book just to see if the library had any record of it. Not only did they have record of it, but they had print copies of it and it was shelved (as one of the displays) as “best sellers”. (My bank account would disagree)

My friend made me ask the librarian how many times it was checked out. Her response: we have record that it was taken off the shelf and reshelved once.

He’s going to check it out tomorrow so it can have its first official checkout. by @corey_stumne

Our first day at Maryland Heights was filled with a thanksgiving lunch, a HUGE welcome basket full of gifts, goodies, and gift cards, and a new church family who welcomed us with open arms. Thank you to our church family for making our first Sunday feel so natural. by @corey_stumne
