Fun weekend diving right into a PRS shooting match , MDT mid summer Madness just outside of Merrit BC , just to see and learn on the go first hand… Met some really fun people in this relatively new and complex shooting sport.
This venue was on private ranch and brought out some of the best Canadian and American shooters in this sport. Thanks to @mdttac21 , Ryan McLean and @jbotha_ for doing all the hard work organising and placing steel targets all@over this ranch for a safe and interesting event. Also thanks to the @nicola valley gun club for the free camping . Glad I didn’t come dead last , pulled some shots and got a few zeros along the way but learned a bunch. taken in Nicola Valley (Merrit BC) by @coreyboux

Shooting off the PRS style barricade at 475 yards and the Tripod at 650+ at some steel target . Painted a + on the one and a 4 inch dot on the 650 yard barrel. The 650 was a bit hidden with any other position but made it work. 700 Remington LR in 300 wm in the MDT LSS G-3 topped with Leupold mark 5 5-25 PR2 mils , 220 Hornady ELDX H4831. #prs #mdtchassis by @coreyboux

Been range shooting a bunch in the last month and got inspired from the MDT page with the Black Jack challenge that they were doing at 500 yards .. Our range is only 200 but I thought it still be fun and a good challenge so built and replicated it ( got some better steel targets on the way. Skipped the 15x15 “ and just did 6-2 “ with repeatable success. Not bad for a stock Tikka T3x dropped into a MDT chassis and the cheapest ammo C-tire had ( PCM bronze 147 g FMJ) . 2 inch target at 200 yards is 1 MOA . @mdttac21 200 yards “Randy Barret” challenge ( the pros do it at 500 ) by @coreyboux

First “family “ day of the skate park for the spring . Julien decided to start sending after seeing @wolfgangprotzner send it in the park on his bmx . Before today we always brought the run bike but he never showed any interest. by @coreyboux
