I’m utterly devastated at the sudden loss of my brother Patrick. Words can’t begin to describe the pain and sorrow I’m feeling. He was such a beautiful, kind, sweet, gentle, and loving soul. It breaks my heart knowing there will be no more memories made with him. I just can’t believe he’s gone. I remember when he first came home in 1997 from the hospital following surgery and treatment for his brain tumor. I would constantly check on him during his sleep to make sure he was ok. Throughout the years he would have numerous hospitalizations and I would always pray he would come home. My worst nightmare became a reality on Saturday when he didn’t come home.
I miss everything — his hugs, his texts asking me to grab him lottery tickets, his laugh, our Dunkin runs, his excitement to open presents Christmas morning, walking into the house and seeing him sitting at the kitchen table, his origami and homemade cards for every holiday and his smile and laughter that could light up any room
Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and support through your texts, calls, and for sharing your memories of him. It truly means more than I can express and brings a little warmth to my heart during this incredibly difficult time. Patrick loved everyone deeply and was truly a people person. He will be missed beyond words. I know he is now in Heaven and no longer suffering, no more doctor appointments, no more pain or worries.

I love you so so so much, Patrick. Please watch over me , you’re my guardian angel now 🤍 by @coreyfehr_
