Sweet 16. 🤍✨

I truly don’t know how we got here so fast. It feels like just yesterday we were holding you for the first time, and now we’re watching you drive away, growing into the beautiful young woman you are becoming.

Your dad and I couldn’t be more proud of you. You amaze us more and more with every day that passes—your heart, your strength, your determination, and the person you are becoming.

As you step into 16, always remember that the sky is the limit for you. There is so much ahead of you, and we cannot wait to watch you chase your dreams, make memories, and continue becoming exactly who you are meant to be.

No matter how old you get, you’ll always be our little girl. We love you more than words could ever say.

Happy Birthday to my longest friend, @cannadyturtle ! ❤️🥂

You are one of the very few people who has seen me at my absolute best and at my absolute worst—and somehow, after all these years, you’re still here. 😂 Our friendship has truly stood the test of time, and somewhere along the way, you stopped being just a friend and became family.

From high school sweethearts to married women, from becoming moms to becoming homeowners and business owners, through births and deaths, vacations and crazy trips, celebrations and hard seasons…our friendship has witnessed it all. We’ve stood beside each other through every chapter, and I know without a doubt that you are someone I can turn to at any time.

And watching you become another mother to Makayla has been one of the greatest gifts. ❤️ She is so lucky to have you, and so am I.

There is truly nobody else I share more memories with than you. Twenty-plus years of friendship, and somehow it feels like we’re just getting started! 🥂

Busy weekend, but such a fun one! 🏈🏊‍♀️💙

Friday night was Bolles vs. BK, complete with a rain delay, but that didn’t stop Makayla from cheering on the Varsity Cheer Team! 📣

Saturday we headed to Ocala for a swim meet where she hit a personal record in the 100-yard freestyle! 🏊‍♀️👏🏼

And we wrapped up the weekend at a Jags game with a Jags WIN! 🏈💙

✨ A full-circle moment for Makayla! ✨

For four years, Makayla attended Catholic Schools Night as a middle school cheerleader with Holy Family. Tonight, she got to experience it from a whole new perspective — cheering on BK’s Varsity Cheer Team while also serving as the varsity helper for her old middle school. ❤️💙

Watching her go from a little Holy Family cheerleader to now helping and encouraging the girls who are following in her footsteps is such a special moment.

Fourth of July in Steinhatchee… year 4 at our favorite place, and somehow it just keeps getting better. ❤️🇺🇸

From scalloping and cruising around on golf carts to seafood boils, endless days on the water, and making memories with our favorite people, this trip was everything we love wrapped into one week.

Getting to celebrate my birthday in paradise made it even more special. I’m so grateful for the laughs, the sunsets, the friendships, and the memories we’ll never forget.

What a great way to wrap up Makayla’s Junior Angler days at the Old School Kingfish Shootout! 🎣

This tournament has always been one of our favorites, and over the years we’ve made so many amazing memories on and off the water. From the early mornings to the excitement at weigh-in, it’s become a tradition we look forward to every year.

We’re so proud of Makayla for finishing her junior season in 22nd place with a 19.44 lb kingfish! More than the placement, we’re proud of the confidence, determination, and love for fishing she’s developed along the way.

Next year she’ll be moving up and starting her Lady Angler journey, which is hard to believe! We can’t wait to see what’s ahead, but we’re definitely soaking in this last Junior Angler memory.

We couldn’t be more proud of Makayla for finishing her freshman year. This year brought new challenges, new experiences, and plenty of opportunities to grow. Through it all, she showed incredible resilience, determination, and strength.

There were moments that tested her, but she continued to push forward, learn, and adapt. Watching her navigate this important chapter with such maturity and perseverance has been one of our greatest joys.

We’re so proud of everything she has accomplished—not just academically, but in the person she continues to become. The future is bright, and we can’t wait to see what comes next.

TPC this year was one for the books 🙌

Started the year off with brunch with the best group of ladies, then turned it up watching Ludacris perform. Mixed in some lobster rolls, margaritas, a full-on rainstorm, rolling down hills like kids again, and yes… waiting it out the rain in a porta potty 😂

Got to the chalet and the deck this year—which was a highlight all on its own.

Wrapped it all up with a front row seat on Sunday watching Cam Young take the win at The Players Championship ⛳️

Been a little quiet on here lately… not for lack of living, just been busy doing it.

The last 6 months have been full in the best way—work, family, growth, and making memories that don’t always make it to social media.

Here’s a quick recap: Makayla finished her first BK Competition Season, Added a Bronco to the family, JT and I visited the West Coast, and enjoyed all kinds of time with friends and family! . 🤍
