Some charms hold generations of meaning.

I thank God for placing these special women in my life who love and have supported me through and through.

To soror mommy, you’ve always been my best friend, and being a part of your legacy means everything to me. Thank you for showing me how to carry myself and for introducing me to the beautiful world of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
To my aunties — yes, all of them — thank you for loving me so well. I value every Alpha woman who helped shape me into who I am today.

To my 70 Kovalent Ivies, I will forever hold tightly to the memories we’ve made these past two years. I am blessed to call you my sisters. I love you all dearly, and I’m honored to have carried my titles from Sisterly Relations to Vice President during my time here. These experiences taught me so much about leadership, sisterhood, and the kind of bonds that last far beyond college.

I’ll always hold close the memories we’ve shared, the genuine connections I’ve made, and I am deeply thankful for every moment.

On May 8th, I will be graduating from Alabama A&M University. God has truly carried me through every season of this journey, and I am forever grateful for His guidance, love, and protection over my life.

From my years at XULA, which brought so many unforgettable memories both on and off the volleyball court, I will forever cherish my time in New Orleans. It helped shape me, challenge me, and grow me in ways I will always carry with me. That chapter will always have a special place in my heart.

I am blessed to have finished my journey at Alabama A&M, where I continued to grow, push myself academically and personally, and make even more meaningful memories. I met even more incredible people who became a part of my story—people who supported me, encouraged me, and impacted my life more than they know.

Along the way, I met people who became family in both places, built friendships. From early mornings, tough classes, practices, and everything in between, every experience had purpose. Thank you to every staff member I have had encounters with who helped me and challenged me to step into leadership positions. Thank you to my best friends and family who have always been supportive along the way.

And a special thanks to my parents who supported me in every decision and every step of the way. I love you both more than I could ever put into words.

I wouldn’t change a single chapter of my story. I’m forever thankful for the journey that made me who I am today—and for every place, person, and moment that helped me get here.

This is not the end, but only the very beginning of what God has in store for me as I continue my education. I am forever thankful to be His daughter, and I look forward to what is in store for the future.

Let the countdown begin! 👩🏽‍🎓
