🇨🇦 NATIONAL COSTUME | COAST TO COAST 🌊✨

Our Miss Eco Teen Canada 2026 @corinne_cameron_ walked the @missecoteeninternational stage tonight in her National Costume, “Coast to Coast,” representing the beauty, culture, heritage, and coastlines of Canada:

“Canada’s National Costume, “Coast to Coast,” celebrates the oceans and coastlines that shape the country from the Pacific to the Atlantic. Blue and green Ocean Tartan is paired with Nova Scotia Tartan, honouring Canada’s maritime heritage and the home province of Miss Eco Teen Canada 2026.

Handcrafted pieces, including a bracelet and dreamcatcher created by local First Nations artists, honour the cultures, artistry, and contributions of First Nations peoples in Canada. The shimmering golden train, inspired by sand, represents the beaches and shorelines that connect our coastal communities.

The costume is completed with a genuine recycled fishing net, carefully cleaned and repurposed into the design, serving as a reminder of the importance of sustainability and protecting our oceans for generations to come.

Every element tells a Canadian story, celebrating coastal communities, fishing traditions, and the vital role oceans play.”

We are so proud to see Corinne showcase Canada on the Miss Eco Teen International stage. 🇨🇦✨

Honoured to interview with the judges today and talk about my platform and how Pageants have helped me in my recovery. People often have the wrong idea about pageants and the people who compete in them. I have met so many accomplished, passionate and driven women in Pageants. Pageants teach you discipline, grace under pressure and confidence and so many other attributes that are important in life. Although we are competing, we are also like a team and we help and support each other. There are still things I need help with and there is always someone happy to provide it. 🩷 by @corinne_cameron_

Miss Eco Teen Canada’s Eco Dress is “Healing Tides”💙

“Corinne was inspired to create this eco dress, “Healing Tides,” after spending months in the hospital, where she witnessed firsthand the amount of waste generated by single-use materials. She designed and made the dress herself with the help of her stepmom, a nurse.

The dress is made entirely from real operating room drapes used to protect sterile equipment. Although clean, these materials can no longer be used and would otherwise be thrown away. Over time, these single-use materials can break down into microplastics that enter our oceans.

Corinne transformed the drapes into flowing layers inspired by ocean waves, connecting her experience in the hospital with her eco advocacy focusing on ocean conservation.”

Not only did Corinne make this dress herself, she also showcased her creation so beautifully at the @missecoteeninternational Eco Dress Prime!✨ We are so incredibly proud of @corinne_cameron_ 💙 Keep shining! 🇨🇦
