Strange Mutualisms is officially released!! In conversation with the beautiful book Exuberant Possibilities published by @v_adams_prints and @marymackprints You can purchase it now through my website or by messaging me - $85 for individuals and $150 for collections.

With work by @v_adams_prints @palomababo @amajosephine @tremors.and.trees @amyvcousins @theoryxdaddy @fidencio.f.perez @_erikohattori_ @frithajenkins @queendom_fungi @pennysmasher @sandorkraut @arecough @olivialevinsholden @emmquad @kidneypress @travisjmcewen @eikoologies @anarno @davnasca @nellpierce @vickquezada @firstbecomeahuman @m_rebolledag @softbutchdiaries @el_archipelago @erinjaws @marymackprints @annawagnerart @sodapopvalentine and many more!!

From the introduction “Life exists as and through mutualism. Whether strategically developed or spontaneously formed, mutualisms are often how entire ecosystems are transformed, social movements are built, systems are changed, and dynamic processes evolve…In this publication, we explore strange mutualisms or improper alliances – relations that complicate the binary of beneficial vs. harmful arrangements to make room for the ways that collaboration across differences is necessarily vulnerable, uncomfortable, and strange.”

Been deep in a letterpress Artist Book project at @wsworkshop with the incredible team of @chrismpetrone and @zzona.erin - endless drawing and printing and proofing and binding interspersed with wandering these eastern hardwood forests with Early and pulling so many ticks off us. Very grateful that Early’s residency includes Nelson, self appointed mayor of WSW and companion of 💜 @sodapopvalentine and some wonderful dog loving interns. I have no cell service out here and intermittent internet, so I’ve been in a hermit like studio 🕳, emerging for the WSW daily potluck and short trips to dear friends. by @corinneteed

Ya Es La Hora // Now is the Time. Hidden in the water it says: Alianza Interespecie Por Apoyo Mutuo (Interspecies Alliance for Mutual Aid). Made to support the incredible work of @descolonizapr Twelve layers and 20+ colors after broken studio AC, three bouts of broken heat, plumbing repair, ongoing car accident back/neck injury and all the other ways 2020 has continually been challenging. And yet, this print has brought back joy in the studio again after a summer of deep disorientation. Will be part of a fundraising effort in 2021! #slowart #queerecology #screenprint by @corinneteed

“We Love Our Neighbors” fundraiser print sale 💖

Are you disgusted by the ways 🧊 has been affecting our communities and want to do something about it? A few artists and educator buds of mine are working to raise money for @cosechanj , one of the organizations on the ground that is giving money directly to families currently detained at Delaney Hall. With sliding scale options from $25-$100, 100% of the proceeds of this print will go to them! Link in bio for more details 💖

Print created by the incredible @kahyangni 🪷 by @corinneteed

If you have been witnessing what is happening at Delaney Hall and have been wanting to show your support, giving $$$ is a big way we can support organizers on the ground and families in detention. For that reason, a small collective of queer Philly artists has organized a poster fundraiser to support @cosechanj, one of the organizations on the ground that is also giving money directly to families currently detained at Delaney Hall.

“We love our neighbors” is a 11” x 14” print created by Kah Yangni. 100% of the proceeds will go to Cosecha.

Please support or share widely! Link in bio and below.

Such a treat to spend this week with @uiowaprint making this strange five-layer photolitho “I WANT THEM ALL” prompted by an interspecies dream of me in the unconscious of comrade in print @arecough 🐍🐢🐻‍❄️🐋🦇 It was a big printing week marked by the incredible skills and support of @lithoterps our lead printer, the kindness and invite from Heather Parrish, my emotional support Pantone book, endless stabilo pencils, the litho teaching and print matching of @tc_lithography , the deep camraderie of @pennysmasher, so many print assistants, seeing beloved past faculty, and being spoiled with food.
Thank you so much @uiowaprint !!

This is 46 in a beautiful greenhouse with ✨✨companions. February is dark and this one, maybe the darkest it’s been. Here’s to the coming spring and all the active and latent revolutionary spirit ready to burst forth with the sun. by @corinneteed

In my final hours at @codexfoundation at the @incahootsresidency table! Come visit table 11 📚📚So full of incredible artist books and good conversations and Vitamin D. Love you California and book art and dear ones. by @corinneteed

Tyler Printmaking hit the road this weekend to table at our favorite Pittsburgh Art Book Fair @pghartbookfair!! Faculty @amzeland and @corinneteed brought work from their small presses Gather Around Projects and Vernal Pool Editions and also, from our fabulous grad students and publication projects. Pittsburgh was so good to us and fills the fair with curious and engaged print and book appreciators.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered and ran the fair!! And to our production team @jenaos and @abbeymeiotis for the support! And to all our grads who contributed new work and made genius publications over the years. by @corinneteed

Two weeks in the Hudson Valley teaching letterpress and risograph at @wsworkshop ✨✨✨ Such enthusiastic, hardworking students, such good swimming, such good coworkers and such exhaustion. From collaborative risograph duotones to collaborative woodtype didactics, we spanned centuries in print history between the classes. The riso def did not not break, but we found our way through!
Thanks to everyone for the good energy you brought to the studios. And thanks to all the loves in the Hudson Valley who found me in the studio or the pool or the creek. And in the last image - grateful to always be unconsciously collaborating with @polinamalikin even when not in the same studio! by @corinneteed

This July I am teaching classes with @wsworkshop in upstate NY! Join me in their beautiful studios for one of two classes: “Remixing the Archive: Manipulating Digitized Images for Risograph” and “Broadsides, Ballads, and Fables: Letterpress Printing with Type and Image” So excited to see what we can cook up together 📏📐✏️📃👀 by @corinneteed
