Join the cool kids, sober. Get your child like happiness back! Whatever your poison is it's time to say adios. Mine was alcohol, so unsafe and so depressing even though it was always a "party"
Big accomplishments, the universe wanted to remind me and you... I am the best and my pack is strong! Life is not easy and emotions are hard especially when you are winning and working hard to better yourself. Life will throw tomatoes at your face ha.
Remember to take a moment and be proud in this busy life. I have completed 2 years of therapy 2xs a week. It was so good for you all and me hahaha crazy thing on this day in 2007 I lost my boyfriend in a drunk driving and drunk riding accident. I never thought today would be the exact date i completed my mandatory therapy to better myself.
Being sober is not easy, it's self control everyday and that's huge for me. I am blessed to know the knowledge about me and you and how our brains, bodies, and past trauma can really shape our future if we don't seek help. I am thankful for the people around me that recognized I needed help and sought it for me. I am also thankful to rid my life of people that have not made the choice to realize actions have consequences and they will catch up to you.
If you're older it's never too late and if you're younger it's time to get ahead of the problems too many have. Being sober means boundaries and communication and more boundaries with yourself and others. It's truly empoweing #nationalsoberday #sobermovement #control #empowering taken in Colorado, USA by @coriverqueen
