7/365 - Cormac Curran - Dublin

I got to know the beautifully sincere gent that is Cormac Curran when I was working as a touring music photographer. Cormac has played keys (and a myriad of other musical instruments) for lots of artists such as Hozier (where we met) John Grant, Lisa Hannigan and loads more. When you see him on stage, you know you’re watching a man in his absolute element. In his home today, we sit and chat not just about music and touring, but about life, his upbringing and his total love for teaching music.

You can have a little listen to our full chat, just search for Sin Scéal Eile wherever you listen to podcasts (apple, Spotify etc) or click the link in my bio or on my website.
Come back tomorrow for another podcast/portrait/story.

So unbelievably proud and excited for this single by the amazing @rachelgracemusicwx to come out. This is one of the most stunningly beautiful songs I’ve ever worked on. I cried many times writing the string arrangement for Lately and I think we all had a little weep during the recording session. Beautifully produced by my brother @gavinglassmusic in @orphanrecordingstudios and stunningly played by @orphan_strings. Thanks so much @amy.raising.two.glasses for taking care of us all after the session when we were all blubbering messes. And a stunning mix by @scottwhalliday by @cormaccurran
