We live 🎉🤘🏿 s/o to everyone that contributed to this project, and DM me honest feedback, pls. I am indeed sensitive about my 💩, but I’m way more invested in my all around growth.

For my ancestors, for those I’ve loved, and for those I’ve lost. I present Ratchet Tendencies 🫡🤘🏿😎

Stream ratchet tendencies ON ALL PLATFORMS 🎉 para mis antepasadoras 🙏🏿

It means so much to me, in lieu of a not great breakup, the 12 anniversary of my mammaw passing, my 29th birthday, a dear friend passing the day before said birthday, making a personal choice to put a little more distance between me and my family(It’s all love, but I gotta do what I gotta do for me), having ALL the car troubles, being sick the weekend I was supposed to be promoting…. I was still able to drop this ON TIME to venerate the goat on the 17th anniversary of his passing.

My dad, Staff Sargent Edward Bernard Smith, died for this good forsaken country, and I be damned if I let that be in vein, bc of some shriveled up tangerine and his cronies. My father always made sure I knew, that he served for the people to be FREE . He was so full of life and love, my grandmother and friend that recently passed, had that same our unfiltered love and light, and to honor them, I want to share the love and light with you. Unfortunately, my love and light comes with a dash of angst🤘🏿

So, with the rise of fascism, I wanted to drop something with for the gworls and the gays to, “Shake that 💩 off…” and , “throw that ass in a healing circle.” This is extension the life and love, my ancestors gave to me. This is an extension of the permission I was given to be free, an extension of the permission I gave myself to express that freedom, an extension of the space I hold for myself and loved ones, to become their best and most authentic selves, and an extension of the love and life, that was shared with me!

Are you streaming Ratchet Tendencies? I’d rather die…. taken in Dayton, Ohio by @cornbread.is.cornfed

It’s time to scream-n-skate🤘🏿

📍Deer Meadow Park
@ 8p- 10p

Scream @ 8:30

Bring your own equipment, water, trinkets and zines for trading!

Your GPS will take to directly to the park. Once you’re here, follow the long side walk to the tiny shelter by the skate park!

This is our trading center as well, as the location for the scream!

The event is centered around collective release, reconnection, and restoration!

The release:
@ 8:30 we scream. A collective release of all the BS.
Primal Scream Therapy was initially introduced in the 70s by Dr. Arthur Janov, as a means to heal childhood trauma. These claims were absolutely unfounded, however, we did learn that it is effective in short term release!

The reconnection:

We will collectively participate in a few rounds of grounding breaths.

The technique we’re going to be using at today’s event is - 4 square breathing.

Square breathing is a technique that requires timed alternating periods of holding your breath, inhaling, and exhaling.

We will be doing a 4 second intervals.

The Restoration:

Finally, we will touch grass! (Or eat concrete😭)

We will restore, by building community in nature!
Participants have the option to:
- play frisbee golf
- walk/ skate/ run the trails
- park skate
- trade crafts, trinkets, skills, and zines
- heal you inner child in the playground
- Chill on the dock by the lake

Event rules:

- don’t hate, appreciate.

We all have unique experiences, values, cultures, subcultures, habits, styles, ect. In this space we celebrate our differences, and the beauty it brings the world. We do not hate, we appreciate.

- Respect ya *mother and ya *brother

Respect Mother Nature, and the patrons of the park

- don’t let the door hit ya, where the good lord split ya

This event is 8pm -10pm, we have to clear out at 10 exactly. This is when the park closes. To ensure we are able to do these regularly. We ask that you are out of the park no later than 10:15pm.

- Free you mind, and your 🍑 will follow

Be you and be ready to move!

Please bring water, and your equipment if you are skating!

Are you ready to scream-n-skate?

P.S. please hydrate so you can be great! taken in Dayton, Ohio by @cornbread.is.cornfed
