Fostering with @whiskers_agogo , I’ve loved pretty much all the cats and kittens who have come through my door (okay, minus maaaaybe one or two). Honestly, as a certified cat lady, I could have “foster failed” any of them and loved them just the same. But, somehow fate brought us together right before one of the most difficult periods in my life.

Your silly antics give me a reason to laugh every day. The way you plop on the fridge while I cook dinner. Hearing you meow at the door before I’ve even reached the apartment. Ekekekeing at every bird in the window, sometimes pouncing right into the glass. The little chirps when you spot the Da Bird. Stealing my claw clips and batting them across the floor like hockey pucks. Your little bunny hops when you want to be chased. And of course your latest discovery in the ‘burbs - running up and down the stairs.

I admire how you’re always ready for an adventure, fearless and confident, tail held high even in new and strange places. It’s like you’re telling me, “So what? We’ll figure it out!”

And so we will. Just like Jiji and Kiki, I hope we have many more adventures together. Happy first birthday to my dear companion, B. 🖤 taken in Brooklyn, New York by @corneliakitcats

A purrfect afternoon checking out the many lives of the cat exhibit at MAP, Bengaluru with @kritibhatia6.

Swipe all the way to meet her cat and our muse for the day, Milo who is apparently “a category 9 hurricane” but his innocent face tells me otherwise. taken in Museum of Art & Photography by @corneliakitcats

This morning, we lost our foster kitten Milk.

It hasn’t even been a week since I first met her and I already lost her. Over the past 5 days, I kept imagining what her life would be like when she felt better because I was so sure that she would. I would even tell her, “Milk, when you’re better you’re going to love this ball toy or Milk, when you’re better you can climb up on the tree!” I was trying to imagine what her personality would be like. Would she be playful? Would she be talkative? Would she be a lap cat or an independent queen? Sadly, I will never know but what I do know is she fought as hard as her little body could. I can only hope that in her next life, all she gets to experience is a loving home, a warm blanket and an endless supply of Churu.
Be well, my baby Milk. by @corneliakitcats

Saw this place while hiking today. I couldn’t go in so I looked it up - it’s apparently a historic inn that dates back at least to 1804 with the name Katze (Cat). In the 90s/2000s, it was a nightclub! taken in Bad Kösen by @corneliakitcats
