I fucking hate father's day.

Here's my father sculpting a head of me. I know he loved me, but he taught me by his actions that all the words of love in the world don't mean anything without the actions to match them.

He liked the idea of me, not the real person. He disowned me because I became a Muslim, but I knew he had an issue with me long before that.

When I was 22, I finally stood up to him and decided to make him accountable for his shit behaviour every time I saw it. He didn't like that, but that is because he was a wounded little boy, wanting to be indulged. He picked women that nurtured him and covered for him and he fucked up their lives. He finally married a narcissist who kept this picture until this year. He died in 2010. I only got this picture today.
