❤️From £500, a room and mobile hairdressing… to Kazzhair Salon & Academy.

When I look back at where Kazzhair started, I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created.

I started with just £500, doing hair from a room and travelling to clients as a mobile hairdresser. I had a vision of creating something different — somewhere that didn’t just offer hairdressing, but truly specialised in helping people with all different hair needs.

Today, Kazzhair is a specialised Salon & Academy with a team of 7, and we’ve built something that is still quite unique within the UK.

We specialise in hair loss solutions, offering 6 different hair loss systems, as well as creating and supplying wigs. We also offer hair extensions, professional hairdressing and specialist training courses, teaching others the skills and knowledge we’ve built over the years.

Hair loss can affect people for so many different reasons, and for us, it’s about much more than hair. It’s about listening, understanding and finding the right individual solution to help someone feel like themselves again. ❤️

What started with £500 has grown through years of hard work, learning, taking risks and refusing to stand still.

From one small room…
to a specialised salon.
From working alone…
to a team of 7.
And now an Academy where we can pass our knowledge on to others.

We didn’t just build a salon. We created Kazzhair. ❤️

And we’re nowhere near finished yet.

❤️LET’S TALK CLOSURES & TOPPERS FOR HAIR LOSS

One of the most important things to understand about closures is that they are very delicate. With regular wear, they can last up to around 6 months, depending on care, lifestyle and the individual piece.

Hair isn’t like buying a lipstick where every one is exactly the same! We work with real human hair from different donors, so there can naturally be differences between pieces.

It has taken me years to source the quality of closures and toppers that I’m happy to offer at Kazzhair, and we have them specially made for us.

But there has always been one frustrating problem…

When a closure starts losing hair, traditionally the client has had to purchase a completely new one — and that can become expensive.

Now we can repair them!

Using a specialist technique called knotting, we can add hair back into areas where the closure has shed. This can help extend the life of your closure and is much more affordable than replacing the whole piece.

We’ve also noticed that even with closures made specifically for us, there can be shorter hairs throughout them.

So we’ve taken things another step further…

❤️We can now hand-make closures ourselves, with no unwanted short hairs.

These bespoke closures are a little more expensive, but the quality and finish make them worth the investment.

❤️The video shows the Kazzhair team beginning the process of hand-making a closure. This is just the start — every strand is carefully knotted by hand.

We’re incredibly proud to be one of the very few salons and academies in the UK offering this specialist work.

❤️ This lovely lady has BEATEN cancer. ❤️

When she first came to me, she was going through chemotherapy and facing something no woman ever expects to face.

Her hair was disappearing, so together we made the decision to shave what was left and fit her with a Freewear hair system. It wasn’t just about replacing her hair — it was about helping her feel a little more like herself during one of the hardest chapters of her life. ❤️

Fast forward to today… she has finished chemotherapy, she has beaten cancer, and her own hair is growing back.

Once her hair reached the right length, we were able to move her onto a hybrid hair loss system — and what a beautiful milestone that was.

This system gives her so much more freedom and versatility. It stays in place, she can sleep in it, shower in it, swim in it and simply get on with living her life without having to worry about taking her hair off at the end of the day.

But today wasn’t really just about hair.

It was about looking in the mirror after everything she has been through and seeing her again. ❤️

Hair loss through cancer treatment can take away a piece of your identity at a time when you’re already fighting so much. Being able to give even a little bit of that confidence back is why we love what we do.

From shaving her hair during chemotherapy… to standing here today, cancer beaten, hair growing and ready for the next chapter.

What a journey. What a woman. What a privilege to have been a small part of it. ❤️

Some moments in this job stay with you forever. ❤️

Here we are again, helping another beautiful, brave lady who is facing the unimaginable. She is currently battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy, and sadly, her hair has started falling out rapidly.

Today, we made the difficult decision to shave the rest of her hair, but this wasn’t about losing something — it was about helping her regain confidence, comfort, and a sense of herself during the toughest fight of her life.

We were honoured to provide her with one of our bespoke hair systems. Unlike a traditional wig, these systems are handcrafted from scratch and made to fit each individual perfectly. They can be worn day and night, while swimming, and throughout everyday life without worrying about them moving or needing to be removed.

Cancer takes so much, but if we can help someone look in the mirror and still see themselves, then we’ve done something truly special.
