After a brief lull in the weather when the sun came back out to play , it seems like we’ve stepped back to chillier days again. Just as nature was waking up the grey skies , heavy downpours and gusty winds have returned and boy it feels cold.
Positive thoughts needed and it won’t be much longer before the daily game of hide and seek, searching for the branching Tawny’s, usually in May . Here’s some footage from last year just to bring a little cheer. Stay warm everyone , this too shall pass . #cornwalllavendercompany #nature #rainydayactivities by @cornwalllavender

Capturing the delicate buttery flowers of the Primrose and a few Sweet Violets in sugar form to bring a touch of spring to bakes when the seasons change back to autumn and winter . The Primrose is one of the first flowers to bloom showing promise of spring , ours appeared late December! I picked just a few and left the others as food for the early pollinators .

Another of my planting experiments.
I’d placed some lemon seeds into a pot on the sill and watched 2 plants slowly emerge then along came some very different foliage which I now remember adding another seed to the same pot . Any guesses?
The first person to correctly ID will be gifted either a 10ml Lavender Essential Oils, home grown and distilled here in the farm or our exclusive and luxurious Cashmere soap bar, also made right here by us , as a treat.
